Is this one bigger then the other ones?

as a lego and f1 fan I like the set itself but it has to many stickers I would mess up

I just built this yesterday. Amd after I finished step 1 I was going crazy and thinking I messed up the steering system! I was like why aren’t the wheel straight!! And I took it apart to see why and re did it all.. and they were still crooked! I’m glad it’s just it was supposed to look like that

I pulled the trigger on this one but thank you for saving me from buying the bmw bike and the 488.

For a Technic toy model, I don't really care about exact specifications. But your wheel mod is great.

Just come across this video. Looking forward to getting mine in a few weeks. One thing to point out is that they have been a bit crafty with. There isn’t a McLaren 2022 f1 car by that name it actually the MCL36 so i guess it would be inaccurate if is was called that.

I listened to your video, and I liked your video, and I understand why many people would like the car well it is cool however this one is not for me, I don't hate it or dislike it just not for me, it has a fair price for sure!

wish they had redbull, not a fan of the colors of mclaren but it is a beautiful vehicle

I love the set, but I was also very disappointed about the suspension design. They could have waited a couple of months and do something very close, also in design and sponsor, of the real 2022

Interesting set. I think it would be cool to have B-model pretty much the same thing except swapping both ends to pull rod design. That would allow building the car with any combination of push rod or pull rod in front or back.

If Lego continue the Formula 1 collection and make all these corrections, this set is a good candidate to be kind of unique among the collectors

I don’t like the current generation of F1 cars anyway and built it without all the new bullshit. Looks a million.

Your steering might be a tooth off, mine turned out straight and lined up. Great video though!

Great assembly and overall review. I’m a Lego fan and not an F1 aficionado. I really bought the set for the assembly and for display purposes. I know these Lego sets tend to have stark variations from the actual vehicles but was unaware of the subtle dissimilarities with this particular set.

I have just received my set but I was a bit reluctant to buy it. I wish that they could have closed the sides of the front nose because it is a display model. The diff that people complain about won't worry me either, it just sits still once it's built. I think the rest of the car looks great and if nobody sees the box you can just say it's a 2021 model. I've also noticed that Pirelli is not on the wheels anymore, just the 2 blue half circles and 2 McLaren symbols. Was there a problem with Pirelli 🤔. I totally agree with you on the tyres.

It's actually the 2021 livery, but who cares, it's actually one of the best Technic vehicles Lego has ever made. It's size and look is incredible, it's way better than all the other Technic cars they've made.
