Thanks man
ОтветитьIt kinda do help wit sound.. higher buffer size.. help plugins perform better
Ответить256 seems great. Too fast to be noticeable and still uses less power than google chrome. That's probably the best range unless you have a supercomputer.
ОтветитьI use reaper, and if I have my buffer size that high It would start playback 1 seconds after i hit play, it would also delay the onset of effects by the same time so you can't really A/B anything like you want, you can't adjust compression settings and hear them working, but wait 10 seconds after making a move. Am i doing something wrong or do I just need to change my DAW? Have been thinking about moving to studio one.
ОтветитьWhen I higher my samples my latency goes high
ОтветитьThanks, man your video has been quite useful! I came here to have a better experience using my daw, superior drummer and edrums.
ОтветитьI use my interface for recording and as an amp sim for practicing and having fun, I have my buffer size at 256 samples 44.1Khz and have an output latency of 11.3 msec.
Not sure if that is supposed to be high but I can't really humanly hear any delay in what I am playing. When lowering if further however I can hear the quality of the sound coming from the VSTs going down.
How come not 32 when recording vocals??
Ответитьmany thanks!
ОтветитьWhat computers allow 64 buffer size?
ОтветитьSubbed
Ответить👏👏👌
ОтветитьThis is good!! Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you: very informative, invaluable info and straight to the point: I was looking for a good tutorial on buffer sizes and this has been the best one.
ОтветитьYes very useful. I also have to fight with 'system overload' from time to time.
