Apple still doesn't even support proper pro mode DSLR features. They aren't gonna skip all that just to give variable aperture that their fanbase doesn't even comprehend. Remember they want simple phones that aren't confusing. That's why their camera focuses on the auto mode, which is what 99% of apple people use

Wrong, latest specs just revealed Apple is not moving away from its iconic camera array. All articles hinting at such a change are wrong. Besides Apple would never move away from their most recognizable feature that distinguishes it from Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones. Many people that have iPhones want others to recognize their phone as such.

Thanks for your updates. I didn’t upgrade me phone this year as I didn’t feel that their was a lot of upgrades that impresses. This new IPhone is something I’m looking forward to I was a professional photographer before & being to change the aperture would be a big plus.

I have been an iPhone user since the iPhone 3G era. I switched to the Honor Magic V3 foldable phone, and it’s the best choice and experience I’ve ever had with a phone. I’m never switching back to iPhone.
