Alcaraz might show us what it would be like if any of the BIG 3 never had the 2 remaining opponents. Would Roger, Rafa or Novak win 40+ grandslams, would they be absolutely unbeatable for 15+ years, would they go down in history as the best athlete in history in all sports combined? While the BIG 3 had to compete against each other for grandslam titles most of the time, Alcaraz seems to be the only trully talented new gen player, and once Djokovic and Nadal retire, it is quite possible that Alcaraz will start winning 2-3 grandslams a year, perhaps even a calendar slam, which only the BIG 3 (and Rod Laver) have been able to do consistently. Cant wait for Alcaraz to beat Djokovic's records, especially the 24+ slams total, I really think that Alcaraz can do it due to low level competitors (except maybe medvedev, but he is only dangerous on hard courts, and he is very beatable as djokovic has shown many times).

When Carlos flattens out that forehand a bit, he hits with such power it's hard to comprehend.

If Djokovic avoided those couple of unforced errors, he’d have won the final. And it’s a testament to him that at 36 years old, he took a top 20 year old athlete all the way to 5 sets.
