In Conclusion: Before Columbus it could have been the Vikings, but there will have to be documentary proof and we Portuguese will accept this truth, but until proof to the contrary it was the Portuguese who secretly discovered America, but could not formalize this Discovery for the obvious reason of being able to go to war with Spain and this could mean losing the Reign of Portuguese Discoveries to the Spanish, including the entire Africa Coast and of course the Route to India and the East via the Sea.
