Gear video! I have done it before a number of times before Covid as well to save money. Has always gone okay. The more time I take the better. This video has a few little techniques or ways of doing the techniques that I think will help me even more. If you have a shorter hairstyle like this guys or shorter it’s easy after a number of times. Man, I might continue this though honestly, $30 bucks every month is a lot of money. Course if I had the money I would want to save the time and mild hassle.

Man, trying to use a pair of scissors, in the mirror, HAS to be the most awkward thing I've ever tried to do! I can't even seem to make contact with the hair, the scissors are either too far this way, too far that way haha. Keep the scissors and gimme the damn clippers!

I don't mean to knock it but you still have to blend those lines it will grow choppy unless you blend so say #4 to the top then #3 to say half inch under 4 the go 3.5 and blend the ridge and repeat to you desired length for a clean fade that when regrowth doesn't look inconsistent.

I cut my own hair and I'm 13 it's very easy i don't use a mirror I just put my hand where I need to stop cutting and then have my mom certify the cut

I've been cutting my own hair for over 20 years. I started with the flowbee, but the replacement blades got too expensive, I started trimming with a pair of scissors, then finish with the flowbee. After a while, I found out that I could do with the scissors only. I use a Wi-Fi camera to do the back. I set the camera on a shelf, I am 5' 10, set the camera about 5' 6 high, get a tablet to see it. With my left hand I lift some hair with my fingers tips and cut below, the scissor touches below the fingers tips, and trash.
