How about a sidechained multiband?
Ответитьcableguys clone for cheap money
ОтветитьMtremolomb is much more flexible, but a little steeper learning curve.
Ответитьjust an advertisement no about reaper.
ОтветитьThe crossover feature is interesting! It is also on CableGuys volume shaper 5 which is MultiBand though.
ОтветитьGreat plug, and great video as usual :o) However, I usually use a standard multiband compressor to do the freq split process. Quite common.
ОтветитьIt's better as Kickstarter, and for a lot of genres useful. But not for all cases and kind of music. Not all ducking sources (kick, snare, lead, vocal) are on the grid and then you need something different. For a long time I used a fx chain, which use a 3 band splitter, and 3 compressors, to compress each band separately. Now I'm using dynamic EQ bands with sidechain. This is the ultimate solution, because you can duck several specific frequencies at once. In addition, you can also do mid / side ducking, which can be awesome.
Ответитьthis is very neat, thank you mr reaper
ОтветитьVERY cool...I'll be adding that one to my collection...I think I might start a folder for just the plugins I have because of you...
ОтветитьCan't we achieve the same effect using JS: FFT Splitter to send the high/low frequencies to a second track, which has a pooled automation item to control the volume envelope?
ОтветитьTAL filter which is free maybe ??
ОтветитьFYI: I think you meant *trem*olo (TREMM-ill-oh), rather than trem*o*lo :)
ОтветитьNice information, but I prefer to choose SideChainer by RDGAudio, because it's free, although only in 32bit vst
ОтветитьVery nice! Thanks for this tutorial :-)
ОтветитьIt's just a LFO Tool clone
ОтветитьThanks for the review. I like the simplicity of how it seems. Might give it a go.
ОтветитьCool. Reminds me of Image Line Gross Beat.
ОтветитьBetter than kickstart?
ОтветитьThanks man! That was very instructive!
ОтветитьI just bought it, it has a new "sidechain" mode but I can't get it to work in Reaper. Anyone knows if it's a bug?
ОтветитьFor non-EDM, transparent sidechaining do you think Duck or Laser would be good or should I just stick with sidechaining with a dynamic EQ or FF ProC? I like how Laser seems to automatically find every hit, even if the timing changes. I also wonder if something like SigMod would allow you to create Duck-like effects using an envelope filter on loop. Then you could do whatever you want to the signal chain. Just some thoughts and questions before I start dropping cash on VSTs.
ОтветитьI've seen enough, bought.
ОтветитьThe best envelope shaper I have ever used
ОтветитьSorry about this question but after you download it, how do I actually bring it up in my DAW which is Adobe Audition? Any help on that is much appreciated. Thanks.
ОтветитьPolyverse Gatekeeper can do some stuff like this too. I also have AIR Pumper, pretty nice.
Thx for the demo.
Very useful information. Thanx.
Ответитьso basically grossbeat with less features?
ОтветитьThis can be triggered by MIDI notes, right?
So, if I use Dynamic Split on Reaper I can generate a MIDI pattern then use it to cut another track like the subs, for example.
Because split the song tempo in notes is not a so great feature for me...
How do you route realtime microphone input to a ducker along with drum track for tempo setting? Every video i see on this is also fx against pre-recording track.
ОтветитьThe version I have now has a side-chain option for the trigger mode, but I cant' figure out how to use it with reaper. Any chance you've figured it out?
