Fab car but BMW blunder was using V8’s and not homologating this Fabulous motor for E46- so they were banned from ALMS. They put this motor on E92 and ADDED 400lbs!! Whaaaaaaat!!???

If it weren't for Vanos issues, subframe cracking, rod bearing failures and a few others...I'd trade my M240i for one.

I recently drove the 2020 330i sedan. I didn't like it. It was like driving a computer. No character. If I wanted a commuter car, I would get a Toyota Camry. I feel BMW diverged too much from what made the brand so popular.

Please BMW, build us, the enthusiasts a high revving naturally aspirated M car again. A 3.8-4.0L inline 6 cylinder, that revs beyond 8,000 RPM is all we want. If Porsche can offer this to it’s drivers with the GT4, why can’t you? Keep on building the turbo cars for the driver’s that are after easy power. But build us purists a successor to the legendary S54B32. S54B38/B40 sounds so pleasing.

It‘s 2021, in my opinion E46 is still the best designed car in BMW

BMW should have kept these particular brand because it was the only brand that was holding and increasing the BMW brand equity. It had and it still has so many people around the world who are loyal to these the E46 brand (but not particularly to BMW). I own an E46 and I actually grew fondness to it, but I don't like the rest of the BMW brands lol.

Whenever i see a E46 i drop tears of joy very special car to my heart even a non M3 E46 or E36 i adore it i hope i can buy just a 320ci

For the CSL: He isn't the 'better' M3, at least for me. (no fan of the carbon roof, carbon for stiffening parts at all -> long term durability, because of UV 'corrosion' and so on, for me better use in
frontfenders or hood/trunk. You can bring a 'normal' E46 M3 to that wheight/hp ratio as well and still have a lower price for the used 'base car' compared to a used M3 CSL and their prices. :p
