Michael Leslie was the bass player in UK artist, Joe Brown’s backing group, the Bruvvers. He later was a member of Unit 4 + 2. Along the way he released a handful of 45s on UK Pye, some of which now have a high price tag on ehay.

“Penny Arcade” was another Sloan-Barri tune that found its way to the UK, where the duo had hits with the Searchers’ “Take Me For What I’m Worth” and Herman’s Hermits’ “A Must To Avoid.” A US release of “Penny Arcade” came from the Thomas Group on Dunhill.

Sadly, we lost P F Sloan in 2015.
