ОтветитьThat is soooo cool Lena. What Is then name of the folding tool you got from Aliexpress? Any chance you could post a link to one? GREAT RUG! Even better as it's made of cotton & upcycled!
ОтветитьThis is inspiring, thank you!
ОтветитьХвала Вашим рукам!
ОтветитьQue chula me encanta,te ha quedado preciosa❤
Ответить❤ Your carpet is fantastic. Thank you for sharing the video and showing in detail the process and estimation the time spending and the result after all.❤❤❤
Ответить👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Класс! Ленты лучше сшивать под углом 45°. Шов будет более плоский
ОтветитьI just repaired a small couch (setee) with two sizes of caning material(wicker) it must be done with water or the cane will snap. It's weaving and having to pull the material thru is tough on arms & wet hands //I love your rug and your stick to it attitude. It takes much to make real beauty Before I start to make my rug I'm committing myself to not sewing or ironing but I have some other weaving tools to make it easier to slip material thru. (too bad it didn't work on the wicker it's too fragile)storing up jeans too, as I used 4 pairs in my garden to have standing half men with things growing out the tops and knees.
ОтветитьThis is amazing and truly a work of art and show of great craftsmanship. I would love to have this skillset someday.
ОтветитьLovely blue rugs!
Ответитьwhere can i buy the one u insert denim rope..?
Ответитьwhat is that thing ( tool ) that you are using to make the jeans like a belt?
ОтветитьI could listen you to you talk all day. Your voice is beautiful, calm, and relaxing.
ОтветитьSpettacolare, nn vedo l'ora di farlo
ОтветитьWow really nice
ОтветитьWhoa... for those of us in the United States who do not have a comfort level with the metric system, 175 meters is just short of the length of TWO FOOTBALL FIELDS!!! THAT is a HUGE amount of work!
Your project turned out beautifully but I have anxiety for you that, after all that work, the cotton string may not be sturdy enough, & your beautiful work will start to come apart. The good things is, you know how to fix it, so if you inspect the rug periodically, you should be able to stay ahead of any catastrophes!
Nicely done... thank you for sharing with us! God bless!😇

Your rugs are BEAUTIFUL!
I’ve been saving and collecting old jeans—in both blue and black—and I am planning to use them to make bags and totes. However, I am now also planning to make some small rugs for my travel trailer (I think you might call it a caravan).
Thank you so much for your fabulous tutorial and tips! I’m now subscribed to your channel, and I am looking forward to watching both your past and future videos.
Stay well!

Ответитьlovely project if you want to save your hands from all that scissor work use a rotary cutter wnd mat not scissors.
ОтветитьWhat an amazing feat. Your diligence and patience is admirable and much appreciated. Thank you for sharing your ‘weaving a rug’ journey with everyone. So, so cool and very beautiful 🥰👌👏😍🙏
ОтветитьThank you for honestly representing how much, time, effort, planning, and fabric you put into this project. So many tutorials (particularly on weaving/rugs) gloss over those aspects. The precision, measuring, cutting, making the tape, ironing are the key to this professional result. There's nothing wrong with "rustic" rag rugs, made with rough cut/torn fabric strips the irregularities are part of their beauty. Seeing your project reinforces that it is important to have realistic expectations. Perfection requires extra effort and planning.
ОтветитьOne of the best tutorials I’ve watched! Beautiful craftsmanship. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
Ответитьالله يرحمك يا امي كنت تمسحين لنا هذا حتى نتدفى من برد الشتاء الله يرزقك الجنة على تعبك علينا

ОтветитьBeautiful job! I love the color(s) of denim and plan to use it in my next place. This was so clear. And think of all the fabric we are not just throwing away!
ОтветитьMy mother Wove a rug out of her nurses training uniforms
ОтветитьI love how your rug turned out! Thanks for sharing the process. I would like to make a smaller one for the front door and some placemats, using the denim strips. Feeling inspired 😊❤️
ОтветитьI love it but I would take forever to do it. I'm lazy, too much work. Thanks
ОтветитьDanke ❤ super
ОтветитьWhat do you call the tape folder?
ОтветитьVERY BEAUTIFUL WORK. BEAUTIFUL EXPLANATIONS! CONGRATULATIONS!
ОтветитьWat is d device u r using to make the width narrow
How did you tie off the ends? At the beginning and end of the weave with the jean did you just weave it back in? So it doesn't come undone. It is beautiful!
ОтветитьIt looks beautiful! I love it
ОтветитьWouldnt it be easier to buy denim by the meter from a fabric shop?
ОтветитьTruly awsome 👍💪🙏
