Strength was replaced with money. Money usually comes late in life and more to men than to women. Old men are now being told they still can have young and fertile women. If they have enough money. And women are told they can have these good caretakers as long as they at least look young and sexy. Both only really helps the economy and makes finding relationships only harder for both sexes. Also sex, relationship and marriage is a much more practical sort of a "deal" thing in developing Asian countries than it is in Western countries where pursuit of individual happiness is a bigger goal now than social and family responsibility.

My general rule of thumb is to express myself ABOUT myself. When I am using the word "I" and am expressing my own thoughts and feelings, this is insight, introspection and an attempt to get my needs met. When I (or someone) is using the word "you" and the topic being discussed is about someone outside the speaker, this then is PROJECTION. This is the problem I run into with some regularity, and have been for 20+ years. Western women believe they know what is going on inside us men better than we do ourselves. What a joke.

As somebody who is married to a Filipina I think that this combination - Filipina wife and Western man - is perfect because there are a lot of cultural, religious and historical overlappings.
Before my marriage I also had long relationships with Thai, Indonesian and Indian women but the mentality differences are waaay bigger and cultural expectations will cause a lot of misunderstandings.

Just wanted to say a lot of this is the result of social patterns changing in Western society. For example it became a taboo to belittle women, which is why cunt is considered the most harsh swear word while dick is considered the most tame. Downstream of this is that nobody is really allowed to call out women for what is considered negative behavior and was itself the taboo in past eras. Hence when you get women like the one in that video, men just quietly say "okay, good luck with that." and women will need a high social intelligence just to pick up on any trace of the fact that most men find that behavior repulsive.
