Solid advice as always, communication is so key to winning. I'd maybe add that part of this is to mute players who are actively disruptive so that you can effectively communicate with the others.

Can the lotus be fed or transferred to an ally?

One of the main issues in Dota is that there is no ideal setting to learn new roles or heroes. As has been mentioned multiple times, bots have limited learning chances, unranked lacks role que, and ranked shouldn’t be used to try out new things. This is an issue with the token system, as you may be assigned to a role you are not comfortable with and may grief your team unintentionally. For players who are not ‘good supports’ this video should serve as a starting to point to improve, since everyone will have to support in ranked eventually.

Very cool video, but the thing about supports having inventory space is debatable. I desperately need my 1 branch and 5 mangos from shovel on me at all times!
