What we’re some specs for a gaming pc? I remember you referenced them in the video but I could not find them. I don’t need anything over the top just a day to day player if that makes sense
ОтветитьI was until seeing how it cost as much as entry level racing in a REAL car! Its a shame that cost keeps so many good drivers away.
ОтветитьYou could get all that crap, or a VR headset and a wheel.
Ответитьhelp me please, i have 2000$ to spend on a racing sim and i need recommandations please!!!
ОтветитьIs the music from stimming?
ОтветитьLove the video. My setup is listed on my "Tim Rengers" iracing account profile. Enjoy! 3 years of rock solid motion simulation and counting.
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Its very informative.
Ответитьi tried to look for the monitors you used on the video discription but couldnt find them, what is the brand and spects of the 3 monitors.
ОтветитьI’m interested in both sim racing, in addition to flight + combat sims. My ideal cockpit would be an adjustable one where you can lower the wheel out of the way when you’re done racing and have a joystick/throttle on a swivel mount, ready for when you want to hit the clouds or outer space.. I wonder if any companies make a universal sim rig like that, or if that would require some custom work.
ОтветитьMY suggestion would be to spend not too much on the wheel on the start and focus more on proper pedals. As for the PC I would buy something that starts in the middle field price-wise since Assetto Corsa doesn´t need high end hardware.
Ответитьyes you can buy a console for smaller a mount of money . but when you play gran turisno game for year playing it cost just about about $200 a year to play online . in iracing it is about the same money but you get if you finish race you get $10 a race where in gran turismo you bonus car , parts or they call it bonus point i like call it money to buy other car and part . so they top games in .with that i know play gran turismo the 25 year racing when they went online . they have bought the price up in one year two time of money . you are talk about lots of money in your you tube . how about there was a man why pay more then what pay for the equipment if buy ps5 , xbox or pc , the other equipment for them the unit you all must have more money to do with or you it free form someone .
ОтветитьIn terms of mounting solutions which do you think will be better, wheelstand or foldable rig like a playseat challenge. I don't have the space for an 80/20 rig, and will be looking to upgrade to a DD wheel hopefully soon, so I need to move away from the table.

ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you
ОтветитьAbsolutely amazing video from someone who is getting into the sim scene. I learned an absolute ton from this video, and I'm hoping to take this and hopefully have a better setup than my xbox controller!
ОтветитьSo I get all the hype about sim racing but if you have all this cash for toys you either don't have kids or a house to pay for or career that eats all your time up on top of the other two. Looking forward to my retirement years so I can set this kind of rig up to join in on the fun :)
ОтветитьThanks for your great video!!! Your setup looks amazing 🤘🏼😎
Ответитьj aime c est oufff
ОтветитьSaw time was 23 mins. I said not way! After 23 mins i am like...I need sim setup ❤
ОтветитьOne thing Im not sure if you're aware of is the difference between Nvidia and AMD with respect to triple monitors. AMD is FAR better at a driver level and NEVER drops a display in the middle of a race.
ОтветитьI don't want to go into sim racing because I don't want to sell my house and take a 20 years money loan to buy the stuff
ОтветитьI'm curious. Is sim racing with a VR headset worth it?
ОтветитьIf i had this i beat you all
ОтветитьWhat do you consider the best distance from eye to monitor? Does this optimal distance change when going from 1080p to 4k? What are your thoughts about placing a 49" wide screen monitor just 16" in front of my eyes to get a 180 degree FOV and greater immersion? THANK YOU for your excellent videos. I really appreciate you taking time to share your experiences. Robert
ОтветитьPC’s good…… PC games not so much! I will happily buy a PC when the latest Gran turismo is available on it.
ОтветитьI sure hope the next-generation of consoles like the ps6 and whatever the new Xbox is going to be in 2027 2028 include support for triples and can do aspect ratio for ultra wides etc! Ive heard rumors that the next generation of consoles is going to be close to $800 because its really the only way they can achieve a better product than the current gen xbox and ps5 currently. And yes people ps4 and older Xbox is LAST GENERATION SO STOP YOUR WHINING ABOUT STILL GETTING NEW GAMES! You are holding back what games could be at this point. Im just hoping that gta6 doesn't expect their game and or want it to be playable on ps4 and whatever Xbox in that same generation. Because that would be terrible news for ALL gamers. I understand that they were hard to get at first but 3 years in and still expecting the new games is bullshit and is why the new batman game sucked ao bad. Do you really think they would be capped at 30fps if they didn't have to think about the restrictions of the old generation? I mean you would be delusional if you did think that cuz it is 100% a fact. They just can't come right out and say it because gamers tend to be cry babies about everything. They raise they price of a game $10 and everyone goes nuts. Can we all agree that their is so much more that goes into games these days and we get alot of gameplay from most of them. So if it takes more resources and people to make these games then how on earth can you get upset that they have to charge a little more. Like wtf thats how the world works you broke a$$ potheads. See im an older gamer and literally got to see video games develop from the Nintendo 64 and even sega ect. So its your to spoiled and narrow sited in ya'lls expectations. If they knew people wouldn't freak out over like a $100 game and could really have time and spend resources on truly making a game better. But they have to operate in really tight margins in some cases due to budget and what they think they can get on return and remember they have to be cautious because flops happen all the time in the Industry and no one is coming to bail out whoever forked over the money to fund the dam thing. Thats another reason why we don't see as many small 3rd party games anymore because 1 wrong thing people don't like they will take it to social media and turn the mob on them like the cancer you young generation is today and boycott a game someone has invested their time and money into. There's a reason society (United States anyway) is declining in morals and overall decency. Sorry not sorry. Imo of course. 🖕😭👶's
ОтветитьYou deserve so many more subscribers with how professional you make your videos!! You got to be one of the most humble dudes on the planet!! Thanks for the knowledge and "drive"!! Nice Work!.
ОтветитьHello, thank you for the great video. I do local racing with the Porsche club but have never used a racing sim. I would like to get an affordable turn key pc, direct drive 3 monitor system is there one you could recommend for me? I understand affordable is relative. What I mean is the best value checking those basic boxes. Thanks
ОтветитьAll that money wasted on screens you could just use vr , vr is the way to go for sim racing I could never go back to screens
Ответитьi bought T300 rs gt for my first wheel with t3pa pedals and th8a shifter, bought also some ebay cheap handbrake that is controled with arduino mb, made myself wooden stand for the pedals to make them inverted and attached all to some old clunky desk, all that with some cheap ass 43" LG 4k smart TV with 60hz refresh rate, using all that with my old pc with 4-th gen intel i5 4690 cpu + strix 1080 ti and got myself an old renault 19 front seat with some mounts = the best fun i had from playing racing games! I play mainly Asetto Corsa with mods and do drift, then Dirt 2.0 and Richards Burns Rally HU edition, some Forza horizon 4 and Project Cars:2 and when i have the mood - Euro Truck Simulator 2! I can confirm, the first thing i need to improve is get myself better RIG so i can attach all my stuff there, then from sim gear prospective i need , really need better pedal set!! I can manage with the belt driven T300, it gives me plenty of feedback for what i use it, but i hate this pedals.. they feel like toy and not a proper pedal set that gets you immersive and are thousands of kilometers from realism.. I wish to buy atleast some good decend load cell pedals, then you obviosly need good PC to get the games run smooth, as my old CPU cant handle for example Asetto Corsa Competizione... Then you need Direct Drive wheel, better handbrake and the gearbox i can leave for the end... ooh and somewhere in the middle i wish to upgrade to tripple schreen or VR !!!
Ответитьis there any good bundle for ps5 at $500 I wouldn't want to upgrade if there's any
Ответитьokay. i know that you can hook up to 5 ps3 and play with five monitors in gran turismo 5
ОтветитьWhat arr the best motion rigs?
ОтветитьErm...VR?
ОтветитьRule no.1 dont ever buy Thrustmaster, support is flying out the vindow, and it breaks whit in months!
ОтветитьFANTASTIC video presentation and editing brotha! I'm an active sim enthusiast myself, and you absolutely covered all the bases here! Subscribed instantly within the first 30 seconds due to the editing alone.
Looking forward for what's to come!
I think it's important to mention that even the best setup isn't going to make you a racing champion overnight. I think a lot of people get in the mindset that buying the expensive stuff will instantly make you great. Great gear will help you realize your potential but won't by itself make you great. It also doesn't make you less of a racer to have cheaper gear. Don't let elite setups make you feel bad because you only have a 200$ wheel attached to a desk. I'm not saying good setups don't have value but don't think you can't make do with less.
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks!
My first ever rig will be the Asetek La Prima wheelbase, rim and pedals on a Playseat Trophy. Monitor will be a single Samsung Odyssey G5 3440x1440, 34 inch (curved 1000R). I have a PC already, that can run iRacing, so can wait for optimal PC later.
I need to tuck it in (we have a perfect corner for the setup size) and maybe move it around, so the Trophy will suit this purpose well. As advised by many, I will splash out on the FFB parts, and the Asetek can even be upgraded in several steps, if I feel the need to. I can't wait ! =D
Hello! What is put between the monitors to make the image uniform so that the edge between the monitors is no longer visible, a kind of tape
ОтветитьI think i've seen your setup on techsource
ОтветитьGreat review mate, that was very informative
ОтветитьExcellent advice as I help my grandson enter the Sim racing world. Many, many thanks!!!!!!!
ОтветитьPSVR Beats the triple screens shrug
ОтветитьSo…. How much does his fancy setup cost? And what would a basic setup cost? Maybe it was said during the video and I missed it plus I was dozing off and I didn’t want to go back searching for it. Peace.
Ответитьwhat is that button box not the steam deck but under the steam deck
ОтветитьMaybe I missed it, but what are you using to hide the gaps on the triple monitor setup?
Ответить
