I think this is the best movie that portrays Lee's story. The producers obviously did their research. Well-done.

Sad fact: Fun World isn't around anymore and The Last Resort is now a memorial for Aileen Wuornos. The skating rink that Lee and Selby had their first date is still there though. It's called Semoran Skating Rink

It was obvious that Alieen loved Selby more than Selby loved Alieen. She didn't help her with anything and relied on her to take care of both of them.. it definitely annoyed me how she complained how she was always bored and alone in the house if I was Alieen I would have told her to start looking for a job and help pitch in .. plus it was obvious that Selby was into that chick that she met at the gay bar when she took that car without Alieens permission and went to 'funworld' just so she can get closer to her and when they went to the carnival that Alieen paid for she completely ignored her and went off with her "friends" and didn't even introduce her.

Selby always came off as a spoiled brat. If I were Lee’s girlfriend, I’d encourage her to get factory work and I’d go out and get a job somewhere like retail or fast food so we could have come together on things.

Even if she didn't kill that man & even if it really was her "friend's" car Selby still shouldn't have taken the car without permission.
