is my bambino broken? it only seems to be pouring liquid through for about 8 seconds

30 -36 seconds? Huh ? I have this machine and the double shot goes for about 12 seconds how are u getting 36 seconds

Thanks for this guide! When you say 30-36s of brew time, do you start the timer once you press the button? Or do you start the timer once the machine starts pouring? Thanks!

Awesome video. Just got the machine and kind of learning to use it properly. How many grams or ml of milk should I use for a cappuccino? Can't seem to find a straight reference to that anywhere. Thanks !

I have this setup no it’s been great.

How do you fit 16g in the double wall chamber? I can only fit 13 before it overflows. I try to tamp it down and the machine won't even close. I'm using french roast if that makes any difference?
Edit: I found out it was entirely my coffee beans. I only buy dark roast.

The lucky boy is my favorite blend from Padre so far. Great balance of sweetness, depth and smoothness. Goes great as an espresso/long black or with milk.

How sustainable is the espresso machine? I want it to last me more than a year.

I am having a Breville Bambino Plus and a Cuisinart DB-8 grinder. Here is what I did :-

1. Grinder is set at the finest level.
2. Coffee powder 18 grams, dual basket.
3. I don't have a distributor, will try to get one soon.

Results:-
1. 65ml or 2.2 oz of extracted coffee (yield), this is way too much !
2. Total brewed time is 24 seconds starting from the button is pressed and stopped at 24 seconds.

Looking at this result, the yield is way too much. Unfortunately I can't make it finer due to the grinder limitation. Is this result is acceptable from your professional point of view?

Hey Guys, received my bambino plus and smart pro grinder. Ive checked the comments and set my grinder to 10 as you recommended. When hitting the double shot 16g of coffee my filter process is only taking 15 seconds instead of the 30-36 sec your recommending. Can you please assist on where i might be going wrong? Thanks.

Nice video. Did you use the single wall or double wall basket to make the espresso? My Bambino only arrived with dual wall baskets so looking to get the right dose and extraction time in order to produce good shots with these baskets.
