Probably the best Hulk has ever looked on screen. The CGI is absolutely unbelievable. How this wasn't nominated for an Oscar is ridiculous. I honestly think it could be compared to Thanos. Hulk also somehow looks like a cross between Rufallo, Ferrigno and the classic comic book style. Andy Serkis helped with the Mocap in this film and it definitely shows. Notice how Hulk never 'twins' i.e. no symmetry. He always slightly off angle (even his face) giving that demented air about him.

If this was true to the comics, the hulk would’ve murked Tony. The angrier he gets, the stronger he gets. Hulk was never an ogre either. They should’ve kept it similar to ed nortons hulk.

I keep seeing people go back and forth about Hulk and Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet so let's settle it once and for all. The following are documented facts not opinions or theories.

First and foremost: Pretty much everything about the Stones and Gauntlet in the MCU is divergent from the comics, no Stone is "too powerful for a single mortal to hold" nor does using the Gauntlet harm the wearer "mortal" or otherwise. Whether you believe these changes were done purely for they story they were telling or a lack of source material knowledge is irrelevant, the fact remains the MCU version is not accurate/faithful to the comics.

Second: MCU Thanos is nothing like comic Thanos, once again why one thinks they changed him doesn't matter as regardless of why he is factually rewritten as completely different. MCU Thanos is presented as a "the ends justify the means" semi-benevolent being that wants to erase not kill half of all life so the remaining half can better and more "comfortably" survive, while comic Thanos is literally a Death worshipping mass murderer that joyfully revels in acts of cruelty and evil for their own sake that wanted to outright kill half the universe in hopes of winning Death's love.

These changes are at the heart of the MCU Hulk debate, primarily the changes to the Stones and Gauntlet, and his overall "nerfing" after Ragnarok. In the original theatrical release of Infinity War Thanos very clearly used the Power Stone to overpower Hulk with the stone glowing as its energy infused Thanos after Hulk hit him, the FX were removed in the DVD release after one of the Russos erroneously stated in an interview after the original release that Thanos is stronger than Hulk. This mistake and subsequent editing of the movie to fall in line with the statement is the main indication to some that the Russos had/have little knowledge of the source material and were simply making it up as they went.

In the comics Thanos actively tries to avoid dealing with Hulk whenever and however possible, literally at times immediately abandoning long developed plans the moment Hulk becomes involved, having directly and repeatedly said so in various ways throughout the years, yet MCU Thanos barely seems to know who Hulk is let alone show any concern about his presence/involvement but is fully aware of who Stark is.

Hulk refusing to come out is not exclusive to the MCU, the reasoning for it though is. Only in the MCU does Hulk refuse to fight out of fear, something fans have rightly pointed out is completely incorrect for the character, in the comics Hulk has only ever refused to fight purely because he was unhappy with being treated like a weapon to be used and then locked away until "needed" again.

In the end Hulk is hurt by the Gauntlet and beaten by a non-empowered Thanos simply because they are not in fact Hulk, the Gauntlet and Thanos but rather functional "knockoffs" only loosely based on the actual characters/object.

Outside of the MCU Thanos can not beat Hulk without the Infinity Stones and anyone can use the Infinity Gauntlet "safely"( barring any truly stupid uses that indirectly harm the user ).

Something I've noticed that isn't quite used in Avengers: Infinity War is the flight agility of the Hulkbuster suit. This suit has some pretty good flight agility for its size. Just like his regular iron man suits. I guess because Bruce was driving it was why all of the features weren't used
