Hi, can someone tell me is it necessary to break up the substrate before adding water? Also how long do I soak it for?? I've checked the websites instructions and it doesn't mention agitating the substrate and says only soak for 5 minutes 🤷‍♂️ I'm confused . Any help appreciated 🙏

These have a very long stem because they were looking for some light. At a point you can introduce a little more light .

The spores are not psychoactive. Most people do not want them to drop spore so they can get a second flush. If they drop spores that signals the end of life cycle and hard to get an another flush. Best time to harvest is right after or as the veil tears. Doesn’t affect potency what so ever

A lil more fresh air will keep them from getting long stems like that and a 6500k led (2000 Lumens) diffused to 750 Lumens on a 16/8 light cycle and a lil cooler temp will give you really thick and meaty mushys and will greatly boost overall quality

My grow bags always do this too, the CO2 fills the bottom and the shroomies grow tall with small caps searching for oxygen, ill make a grow tub one of these days XD

If they grow too tall it's a sign that they get too little oxygen and maby some light ✌️
