Scotty, I have a 2010 Dodge Caliber SXT. The compressor has been replaced. Once the freon is in there, it only last about an hour blowing COLD AIR. After that, the freon has leaked out. Do you think it is the high ac line. I put dye in it before the compressor was replaced, but the green dye only showed around the area where the freon goes in. Can you help me please.

Scotty I have a 2018 Toyota RAV4 and the Compressor oil need to be ND-OIL8 but I don’t see it online for sale, so can I use the PAG- 46 ? I need to replace the Condenser so I want to put some oil. Please help :(

Mr. Kilmer, if I replace the condenser and the receiver/drier myself, can i then drive it to the mechanic to have them do the vacuum and recharge? Or will that ruin things? The drive is about 10 minutes

Why would you put oil anywhere except in the compressor? The evaporator and condenser are just tubes and there was no oil in my evaporator when I disconnected it.

Hi Scotty I have a 2016 Kia Sorento ran over a small critter and bent my ac condenser I bought a new one but I am nervous to disconnect the high and low pressure connections on the trashed condenser is there pressure in these lines if so how much and how can I safely disconnect them ?
