Many content creators who faded into obscurity were hit by some kind of bad decision or a tragedy in their personal life taking a toll on their content. DarkSydePhil is one of the few whose poor status and personal struggles are entirely to blame on himself without having broken any laws or getting into legal trouble (with the exception of the S.W.A.T. incident, but that wasn't his fault). He's not a criminal, he's not someone who cheated his way into finding fame, he's just a loser in every sense of the word with an unconsciously massive ego who refuses to learn and take responsibility for his poor behavior, which is all the more sad when you realize that with such a long-lasting career, he had every opportunity to save himself if by simply apologizing.

August 2023 update: Phil is still streaming to 300 people a few times a day, begging for tips with no plans to improve his channel or invest in it at all. He eats doordash for most meals, blows his money on WWE Champions, and is just as awful and gross as ever.

Honestly, with that "nobody gives a shit" comment in that first tournament, they had the attitude coming after that.
