I've spent way too much time over-analyzing sling setups...thanks for sharing Kevin!
Ответитьi'm a low speed squirrel hunter with a bb gun. No use for this info but I can listen to Kevin talk about anything.
ОтветитьMuch appreciated! Keep up the great work and content!
ОтветитьI think implicit in his sling position, you have to look at the ease in which he was able to make all of those transitions. That's gun handling of many many years. So if you want to gunhandle like that, make sure you are doing your dry fire with your gear set up like that. Don't just change your sling, think 'Cool. GTG.' And put it back in the safe. Nah... dryfire that thing every night.
River rocks are smooth because they have running water on them 24/7.
Masterclass in under 3min! 👍
ОтветитьAnd that was a learning experience.
I’m an ancient and back when dinosaurs ruled the earth I never ran with the sling over my body. I could toss it over my shoulder to get it out of the way but that was usually because the day’s trials and tribulations were over.
This was the 70’s.
There’s so much cooler stuff out there now.
I love listening to Kevin’s stories and I’m especially fond of the one he tells about training the locals on the finer points of the AK. He didn’t have them safing the weapon all the time because it’s so cumbersome.
I had the same approach and I’ve taken a metric duck ton of abuse over that. Thank you sir, for a little positive reaffirmation 👍👍
We’re on the same page, I’m no ninja, but I run mine the same.
ОтветитьHoly shit. Watching you spin that rifle around and stow it behind you was like watching some old kung fu movie 🤣I had to replay that portion a few times to figure out what the hell happened.
Ответитьi still prefer not to have a sling.
ОтветитьOver the years I’ve tried quite a few different ways but this is natural way for me and what I train for especially because I’m a stock in the armpit to mag change to help me control the rifle the best. I absolutely agree through if it doesn’t work trying something till you know it’s the way for you! Appreciate the quick video 💪🏻
ОтветитьI run mine the same but I like the 2 to 1 point style for a CQB gun. If I'm running a scoped carbine or a more SPR style rifle, I run a 2 point with the connections on the buttstock and the far end of the rail.
ОтветитьYeppers, precisely how and why I run most of my sling in just such a manner.
Now, when folks go out of their way to tell me how thick in the head l am for doing so, l can point them to this video, not just point out that so many weapons have mounting points for doing so...
Always appreciate your input! Miss you man!
ОтветитьMore stuff like this man. You’re such a wealth of knowledge
ОтветитьGreat information. Going to try it out tomorrow! Being able to manipulate the rifle will take some time. Appreciate it.
ОтветитьDid you ever have to retain the sling to the gun? Or are you just always wearing the sling If it's on the rifle? Just curious. Awesome video!
ОтветитьKevin that was the most professional sling manipulation I've ever seen, thank you for two minutes of sling work I've been like for.
ОтветитьExcellent advice! Legendary operator,
ОтветитьDog go mlerm
ОтветитьThanks Kevin! Honestly, just seeing you throw the rifle around like a Ninja was amazing! Some manipulation to aspire to! Cheers!!
ОтветитьSo that was like watching a ninja master. I’m gonna need to watch that about a dozen times on slow speed. Thanks, Kevan.
ОтветитьI’ve mostly ran my sling from the butt stock and the very front of the hand guard but watching you implement your method was very informative and I will try it out for sure. Thank you Mr. Owens.
ОтветитьClickbait, i tuned in for the pup 🐶 😍
ОтветитьHelpful info, thanks
ОтветитьZhee has the same advice. Seems very sound.
ОтветитьWould love to see how you use the sling to tight up prone positions
ОтветитьNice work, thanks.
ОтветитьKevin is right as always. This is the way we were taught to run our weapons at 5th Grp.
Ответить❤❤counting down the day’s❤️❤️to be with my boy’s
ОтветитьYou can tell he’s eliminated a lot of targets in his day
ОтветитьThat was the coolest pivot to the back with a a rifle I’ve ever seen. On-On
ОтветитьBeen watching you for a while now but just found this channel! Glad to see you're still putting out good info Kevin! Keep it coming!
ОтветитьI already know I’m not as skilled as Kevin but dammm I didn’t realize a sling video would highlight this.
ОтветитьIf you're the #2 with that buddy fucker, I bet you'll be really popular on the team.
ОтветитьI don’t run em like this but I’m not this dude and he is not me. Can’t fault the man for liking his gear a specific way and muh dude gave lots of solid reasons why he runs it that way. No argument here.
ОтветитьGreat information Kevin! You always give us the best advice.
Thank you! Tell Vinnie one of your followers said hi.
This really is my favourite sling. Great video. Cheers!
ОтветитьThat “flip” was Jedi.
ОтветитьKev, were you a fan of having a lanyard on your duty pistol for say, being on a ladder and clearing a rooftop ?
Ответитьslick drills
ОтветитьClass , love it.
ОтветитьVery good video actually think its the best about slings
ОтветитьDude that was smooth, like you have done it thousands if times. I use my rifle when I task my dog out. Doesn’t look nearly as smooth lol
ОтветитьThat brake looks like it would be very concussive. Is there a suppressor that goes on it or something? I'm guessing that gun has 0 recoil whatsoever with that sucker on there.
ОтветитьMARINEs bite down on the handgaurd & double time it. Slings for dental 🦷 floss
ОтветитьGood advice appreciate the video
ОтветитьAwesome! Thanks again Kevin! ❤
