I am very curious to see your take on box clasp fabrication. I have yet to find one solid build that I like.
ОтветитьAs a jeweler myself I always enjoy videos like this. I always learn something new.
ОтветитьOk
ОтветитьTop stuff ! I make my own also sometimes you have sizes in-between !
ОтветитьFantastic video and technique. Very talented goldsmith
ОтветитьG-string ! 😂 Great video. Long time fan of your videos!
ОтветитьVery nice work...excellent lesson, thx
ОтветитьThis is by far the best I have seen yet! Cheers 🍻 Thank you so much!
ОтветитьExcellent Jaco!
Ответитьwatching people make clasps is absolutely fascinating - i've only seen it done in person with a box clasp. it always looks so intimidating, because of the precision required, but the mechanism here isn't as complicated as i thought. super cool :D imo, a handmade clasp really takes your piece to another level.
Ответить*always always make the trigger as long as it can be comfortably. too many times i get jobs where customers want them replaced since theyre too hard for them to open, you can always file it down but cant add any more length without taking it apart/replacing. either make it much longer or bend it out more perpendicular so either way they have enough leverage to open it easily.
ОтветитьWhat's cool about this is that I might not necessarily ever make it out of metal, but I want to try and make one out of wood. Been getting into my carpentry a lot more recently and that would be an awesome challenge. Awesome video thanks <3
ОтветитьFantastic video! And thanks for the shout out too 😊
ОтветитьHonestly, this was an interesting watch, bit I have enough to be doing lol. I'd rather just order in a premade stamped lobster catch. There's some nice quality italian made ones available to me.
ОтветитьThanks for very interesting video!
ОтветитьWhat a lovely video, very clear and very useful! Beautiful work and thank you!
Ответить👏👏👏
