Beautiful
ОтветитьOne of the rewarding moments of making everything come together
ОтветитьThat's NOT steep, beautiful laying ground
ОтветитьMaybe 3 cuttings this year
ОтветитьAwesome yield! How is the fuel burn on the T5 now the HP is dialed up?
ОтветитьThat amount is going to make bales fast, may have to wind out the weight or have busted strings.
Ответитьthats some nice hay.. :) ours is behind becuz of the flood then being cold out..
ОтветитьGood looking Hey Dennis. Say did you ever make any videos of that 6130R working before you took it back?
ОтветитьInteresting cutter, (offset to tractor) lots of universals to grease on that PTO. Really like the channel & beautiful hay!! Newly subscribed from Mid-Atlantic area. Take care!
ОтветитьHave you ever seen a mower that’s become very common here in Sweden, called a ”Butterfly”? Its one mower in the front and one at each side, behind the tractor. Then you would be very efficiant, having a job aside as you do...
Maybe help your neighbors and get some income on the investment?
That's some great looking hay
Ответитьi would like to know what you did to get from a trashy field to beautiful field like that
ОтветитьHay up here in eastern Ontario is not so good. Been Cold till last weekend. Take Care.
ОтветитьWow, that is some great looking hay Dennis. I hope you get lots of bales. Thanks for sharing the mowing job with us.
ОтветитьGood looking stuff. Think you will sell it all or be keeping it?
Whats a bale going for down there?
Is that just a mower or does it have a conditioner ?
Ответитьyou'd better be careful, you'll get some of that seed in your beard and have hay growing under your nose.. lol
ОтветитьWell it looks like we've got your rain here now 😣. I reckon a hydroswing mower would be a nice investment 😆. I've pretty much done the same with my fields. Basically I'm stupid enough to take the small, annoying fields that every one else is clever enough to leave alone 😂😂😆
ОтветитьLooks good! Our hay here has been marginal this year. It has rained almost non stop so a lot of the pastures have not been sprayed or fertilized, and a lot of the wheat turned before farmers could cut it for hay, so wheat hay will be almost non-existent. I'm fixing to start our grass hay next week if weather prevails. So far the Bermuda is very stunted due to the cool weather. It'll be interesting! On another note, what do you use to mount your camera to the equipment? I want to try that but don't want the camera to get bucked off, either. Thank you!
ОтветитьThanks for the video Dennis. Are you done with that glass factory pad?
ОтветитьH
ОтветитьThick is good except on drying time! Nice rig you got there sir
ОтветитьHey Dennis. What PTO HP did you end up at after you tuned up the engine?
Sorry if this a repeat.
I have found weather bug to be the best for weather
ОтветитьNice video
ОтветитьDefinitely a different type of grass than we have here in Ireland. Hope the sun keeps shining 🌞 Dennis.
ОтветитьHow's the tractor trading going
ОтветитьWondering if your still happy with the eco tune you had done?
ОтветитьNice.
ОтветитьThat tractor dose a good job
Ответитьyou need a discbin that turns both ways
ОтветитьI often see no front attachment. Is this not usual in your Region?
ОтветитьI often wonder how the decision is made to do things, like mowing a field. That mower looks like it runs best off to the right. Does it also track along behind, or even to the left?
Are you mowing to the right to prevent driving on the standing hay? Does it knock it down, and make it harder to mow if it's not offset?
You seem to be following the basic outline of the shape of the field. With each pass, you seem to stick to the basic shape. Does this help out in some way? Is it just drivers choice, or does it somehow make a better mowing process? I understand the limits of the parcel, but once around the edges, can you straighten out the rows? Would it make it easier to navigate? Or would it make some other unknown problems? It would seem that the easiest way would be straight lines, and that would be based on the second or third trip around, but reduce the amount of steering, backing, and unnecessary trips around tight corners with unproductive moves.
Just curious! Thanks.
I do not know anything about hay but that looks good enough to eat (if I was a cow or sheep)
ОтветитьTrump 2020
ОтветитьWhat is the best sweet hay I don’t know a lot about the hay business
ОтветитьWhat model cutter is that? I’m looking at a Kubota 5032 today (Vicon) got $19k and I wanted your opinion. It’s not a conditioner, just mower with 8 disc & 3 knives per disc???
ОтветитьIf ya wanna make money at farmin don't grow corn just hay and grain
ОтветитьHave you ever tried reed canary grass in the low/wet spot?A lot of it here in Mn. Not as good of quality but does very well in wet conditions
ОтветитьI love this video can't wait too start doing it my self one day
ОтветитьYou’ve done great work on that field. Must have been hard, but look at that green grass !
ОтветитьWhere are you located at
ОтветитьCan u wrap that wetter hay for silage?
ОтветитьDennis do you have a video of how you open up a field when cutting for hay or opening up an alfalfa field. If not, would you please do one.
Ответитьwatching my first hay mowing video in 2024 but the video is from 2019....well it popped up....i bet i watched 5 yrs ago
ОтветитьEven though it’s a four year old video, I’m happy to have found it. Nice to see a real farmer running some NH machines. While that’s what we’ve ran for generations, I’m open minded on what’ll be next. Nice to see a T5 in action.
Cheers 🍻

ОтветитьMy grandpa used to say that the clover seed is always there you just gotta get the ph right to make it grow to its fullest potential. Snd that field is absolutely beautiful crop of hay buddy. You sure got it going your way. Hopefully it's still producing this year like it was that year.
