DJI Action 2 VS GoPro Hero 10 - Which Has The Best Camera?!

im impressed with the saturation on the dji, the stabilization on the go pro seems to be better

I do hope that DJI makes a sequel to the DJI action 2 cube style with the dual screen like that I feel it is super awesome like that and that they can keep the cooling to minimum I've been using it a lot and I love the format of it I learned how to use it and it's totally awesome

Love the DJI action 2 it's format is very small and conceivable you can I like the fact that you has that little magnet on your that you can put on your shirt. I also am an owner of GoPro Max I use both of them and I love the format of the DJI action to cube style I got it on sale and I got it with the two screens. If you know how to use the DJ action2 to it is super awesome

It thought the GoPro displayed a wider and flatter tonal range allowing for more shadow detail on one end and holding the white points on the high end. But, appeared to have more image noise in those shadows. The DJI appeared to have a sharper, more crisp and lively image with more accurate white balance control. Need to see more on Manual vs Auto control on these models. Audio was a Pick-em. GoPro with audio sensitivity bias on closest-to-camera sound sources, while the DJI had a flatter location sensitivity bias. My only real concern about the DJI is hitting the Format Button ! It's happened to me before on an SLR. Verdict on the match up between the two - Coin Toss.

The only plus side for the GoPro for me is that I can easily change batteries

These reviews rarely consider the level of customer service you can expect if you have any camera issues. I don't know anything about dji but gopro is diabolical. Has anyone delt with dji? How do they rate in the customer service department?

For me Dji Action 2 is more useful. For fpv is the best so far!

There are so many different types of ND filters that fit the GoPro Hero 10. My question is which one is the best, it's not a question of the price but from which company is the best.
There are from Sandmarc, variable ND filters. Tiffen has 3 ND filters plus 1 Polarid filter. Polar pro Shutter Collection, Neewer 4 pack filter ND and Telesin has Circular Polarizer Filter. Maybe there are some other filters that are better?

Btw, the GoPro hero 10 can do 2.7k 240 fps, not just 1080p 240fps. Nice comparison

hi is theres an update about your DJI AC 2? some says it has an overheating issue

Here's my opinion based from what I saw in your video. The GoPro 10 is a little over sharpened. I love the softness in the DJI Action 2. The GoPro 10 is more contrasty. We can always add/reduce contrast. So glad you have an fpv footage. Looks like I am going to have fun with the DJI action though normally turn off stabilization. Great camera review!

Hi, I'm interested in filming with my kids, activities with them. I need clarity on video and filming in general to be as clear as possible on the face, toys, objects. An easy-to-control camera with good stabilization (educational activities) and 4K 60fps / 120fps filming are enough. But I am interested in people being as clear as possible, with natural colors. What do you recommend ? Thank you.

The GoPro images sure looks better. because it's overprocessed and saturated. With Stabilization the Action 2 looks much better than the gopro.

DJI hands down.

Which stick are you using on the Action in the scenario?

The go pro just makes it have a more of a your there to in the moment kinda feel to it which I prefer

Dj Action2 - oh heating?

How about the battery life test on both? Does action 2 with module has a much longer battery? That $75 for one battery is just too much compared to $20 each. And recharging is also an issue cause it's hard to recharge 2,3,4 modules at the same time. Also the storage space and weight.

Both cameras make great photos and videos but in reality, both cameras also heat up quickly. Good thing though that they're acknowledging this issue and coming up with solutions to this problem. DJI has started launching the protective case that helps lower the temp of the Action 2 while in use, which I think is a good start! We're still waiting for how GoPro will address this problem but it's evident that we're slowly upgrading to better and more functional action cameras than before!

Latest update is that DJI's giving a heat-control protective case for the Action 2. I'm curious to know which betwen these 2 will be able to record longer then!

The Action2 might be getting more votes now that they're adding the functional protective case in the pack!

Huge fan of your comparison reviews. Very detailed and helpful. DJI Action 2 stands out for me and today it now has a magnetic protective case which is a bonus!

Both cameras got its pros and cons but when it comes to form factor and convenience, my choice would be Action 2. Also Action 2 just got some improvements now with the new magnetic protective case that DJI just released.

On the surface the footage both produce is really good. In my case, I am flying 300g fpv drones so the extra 100g that the GoPro has in mass overnight the DJI (top half) makes it an easy choice. Formatting the drives in the DJI now requires a swipe after pressing a button.

overheating : if you unfold the the fingers under the GoPro, it won't overheat that much. That's why it would overheat in the office, but not on the field : fingers unfolded and air flowing freely around the camera.

Action 2 might be the thing for me, I am not 100% tho. Which one has the easier work around?

It is hard to really contrast the quality of each other when the shots aren't in the most alike conditions.
