What an absolutely fantastic thorough conversation…excellent!!❤🎉thank you!!
ОтветитьGood information. Respect Dr Patrick but not sure why she's against Carnivore.
ОтветитьAnother excellent episode. Rhonda's memory is impressive! The details of studies and tones of data / info. Andrew - as always - perfectly led conversation and concentrating on giving simple formulas for the average Joe " So, I eat caviar, but not fish bait" - this is absolutely smart and necessary! I also love that Andrew don't hold back information from others, even when the situation may become a bit weird/tense (mentioning sun filters to Rhonda, who uses sun filters), and that is the way, share information, and the other side will do what they want with it. It's your mission to share and I admire you for the way you do it, Andrew! It's even more weird when someone actually complaints about something, you say what you know about it, and then they do nothing with the info or get annoyed. Because in many cases it's not about finding solution, but about complaining... and I am not finding myself well in such situations, but I keep grinding the " cutting a bit of carbs should help with that, check out Andrew Huberman's podcast", because I feel responsible for sharing, I want it that way, because it's important. Especially in times when literally you are not allowed to ask for anything or say what you think, and I'm not writing here about pushing your agenda like a % seller, but simply share your view. Oh Dear Andrew and Rhonda, thank you sooo much <3
ОтветитьGoo = slime
ОтветитьThank you! I learned a lot!
ОтветитьTwo of my very favorite people. Yay.
ОтветитьMy doctor prescribed me Vit D2. She was about to say something about it when she was interrupted, then never got back to it. I wonder what the difference is between taking D2 vs. D3, or should they be taken together? D3 is OTC, but D2 requires a prescription. Can I skip the D2 and just take D3?
ОтветитьI have prolonged T and was told not to jump into cold water to swim and would cause cardiovascular events and death
ОтветитьAny advice for someone with prolonged QTC 480 syndrome and using a sauna
ОтветитьOne of the best episodes from you Andrew!
Ответитьfound the whole thing a little self obsessive
ОтветитьI have multiple sclerosis and depression and from your videos I am learning how much substances in the brain matter in terms of health and how they can help me improve my condition. Thank you!
ОтветитьI have a sauna duration question!
Can the duration be split, or is it important that you're in the sauna for 20 minutes straight?? Example: I use the sauna 3x per week @ ~105 degrees Celsius, but can usually only stay in for 11-15 mins at a time, but I'll do that 3-4 times total with cold showers in between. Would it be more beneficial to stay in once per session for 20 mins, or am I good?
Thanks!!
I found out one of my SNPs indicated I have defective vitamin D hormone receptors. Other research indicated a positive correlation between D deficiency and obesity. So I have taken 50K units daily without side effects but effective weight-loss with ketosis.
ОтветитьTo me fish look look like they posses "resiliency to time", so for Omega to provide the benefit of longer life expectancy intuitively makes sense. Same with Vitamin D (the Sun's energy), for it to be the actioner of so many vital processes in the body and to reverse epigenetic aging, makes sense intuitively.
Ответитьwhat about calamari
Ответитьisnt tinned food bad for Alziemers
ОтветитьMoringa is wonderfully nutrient dense, from Africa. But it’s a laxative. Makes me sh**.
ОтветитьGreat episode! Can I ask if doctor Rhonda published that list of Omega3 supplements?
ОтветитьIf your body gets adapted to more stressful situations, like from temps or fasting, your body is able to keep itself, or pull itself back, to homeostasis?!
ОтветитьI’m happy to see medicine is taking nutrients as medicine more seriously
ОтветитьAnytime dr Rhonda Patrick talks; I listen.
ОтветитьI can't believe we had to wade through a whole 10 minutes of fluff before getting to the actual interview!
ОтветитьLove this conversation. WAS WAITING FOR hive man to bring on his talk show love it 👍🏻🙏🏽thanks
ОтветитьDisgusting gooey stuff is called slime lol😂
ОтветитьJesus Christ this guy likes to ramble on . 10 minutes until Rhonda could speak. Just introduce her and ask her questions and let her talk.
ОтветитьAwesome,❤ supplement info. Thank you
ОтветитьHaving had family history of melanoma, I find this statement that sunscreen freaks you out as much as melanoma really problematic. In one case you have a clear-cut causal relationship between UV exposure and a deadly disease, in the other one it's pure speculation. At least highlight the alternatives, as Rhonda did when she said 'wear a hat'.
Ответитьthere's definitely a mutual love/appreciation of each others work
ОтветитьThank you, Dr Rhonda Patrick and Dr Andrew Huberman for this wealth of information.
ОтветитьIt's like Superman teams up with Wonder Woman to do a science podcast.
ОтветитьYou said it's help you to remember content, maybe it can help you to forget as in trauma / panic attacks
Very Intresting
Although my knees won't allow running anymore, but lifting weights enlightens the brain and a very relaxing way to think. Great comments and great content....Thank you Dr. Huberman.
ОтветитьEveryone knows you can’t jump in the pool right after getting out of the hot tub
ОтветитьI hate the "warning" to consult my doctor before beginning any supplementation. 90% (at least) of US doctors are worse than useless: they most often automatically discourage supplementation of any sort, whether the supplement is herbal, vitamin, or some other nutrient.
I would warn against submitting to pharmacological "supplementation. Pharmaceuticals are uniformly harsher, have more severe side effects, and do not heal.
Anchovies, sardines are delicious 😋
ОтветитьGreat to see 2 people that are passionate about their profession and are eager to pass on their knowledge. I feel so grateful that you take time out of your busy days to do this.
ОтветитьI am curious, in evolutionary terms, how humans obtained the appropriate amounts of EPA and DHA. Most fish (though a few stand out in opposition to this trend) have higher DHA than EPA levels. This means that per serving, one gets perhaps 100-500 mg of EPA. To achieve the optimal 2-4 grams of EPA, that would equate to averaging 4 -10 servings of different sea foods per day. Is it reasonable to assume that our ancestors ate much higher quantities of sea food than we do now? Or perhaps their needs were lower based on differences in the environmental toxins they were exposed to? I am always curious about the relationship between supplementation and health. Are supplements needed now because our food quality has declined? Are we simply improving health by increasing dosages past levels we previously had access to?
ОтветитьDon't paint all farmed salmon with the same brush. US vs CA etc. Salmon farming is a highly regulated industry in Canada.
ОтветитьWhat's the scoop with the FADS2 gene? Linoleic Acid is toxic to me.
ОтветитьAre heated whirlpools the same in benefits as saunas?
ОтветитьGreat information but her routine is impossible for people who are not rich. :( I do not have a Pelaton, Sauna, and pool :(
ОтветитьIf it is cold outside can you just go outside without a coat or do you need to go into a cold pool?
ОтветитьI wish she would have just said which Omega 3 supplement she took.
ОтветитьsO.....?cigarettes alter and mutate our DNA?,...Hmmmm, sO, PLEASE inform me why a lot of supplements include what I believe is actually a neurotransmitter called "Nicotine?"
Also Dr. Huberman, I am thinking I may be a good candidate for a script of HGH and here's why;=
As a child there was a constant train of traumatic experiences and in that process I have a theory that my para-sympathetic nervous system was starved and now at 42 diagnosed ADHD and ASD and dealing with perpetual wakefulness .
No problem(anymore) getting to sleep however I wake every 2-3 hours pretty much no matter what
My theory on my sleep is as my body is going into REM sleep, and because
'fight or flight' is and has been for soo long my most active state,
I believe my autonomic system is reacting to the COMPLETE release of 'fight or flight' going into REM and waking me up - and when I wake up(2months of consistent meditation has started to make this less intense), I wake as if I was dropped onto my bed and have a super intense panic sensation.
What are your thoughts on HGH for sleep and if you think I may be on the right track, HOW to I convince my doc that HGH would help me?
Thank you Dr.
Thanks Andrew, one of the best podcast I have been listening to!
ОтветитьShe’s amazing!
ОтветитьHigh quality interaction, ability to assimilate far more by the spontaneous challenging, sharing of ideation.
