I think Metas is overkill especially because it apparently prevents the watch from being elegant. At this price I would expect Tudor to keep the thickness down to 12mm max for a no complication watch. Just my 2 cents.

Damn. I have been staying away from Tudor in the hopes of getting another Rolex (when prices stabilize). This with the Jubilee bracelet is tempting. Ugh. Other problem is I just bought two other watches. Maybe at the end of the year. Honestly looks really nice. Really nice.

Great looking watch but IMO still it is too thick. I wish it had thickness similar to BB54 or at least BB58. With around 12mm thickness it would be "must have" in my collection. What do you think about proportions of that timepiece? Do you find it a bit too thick and top heavy? BTW Thank you for your content!

Is the winding really clicky crunchy? Mine is.

Does it do that when the power reserve is full or is something wrong with my watch?

Keep the Meta Certification, add a date window, add ceramic bezel...I buy one even if it goes up maybe a grand!

I can’t figure out why Tuder/Rolex can’t or won’t put a clear crystal in the back of their watches!…. That one small change would make such a huge difference in their watches astatic!
I love that METAS is 0-+5 I have the Oris cal 400 and it is tested all the same ways as META dose but they nail it down too (I think -2 +5) mine has been running in the -0.5 +3, I’ve been using the ToolWatch app to keep track of the movement; make sure that it doesn’t get knocked and slip out of adjustment for over a year now and I check it a couple times a month then on the first of every month set it back to sync up with the navel atomic clock and it is usually 15-25s slow. C

Sad to see Tudor becoming Rolex, and Rolex becoming unobtainable.

Tudor... Why 13.6 mm? My BB58 is 11.9 mm thick for the same 200m WR as opposed to BB54's 11.3 mm 'thinness'. Thanks for the vid, Alexander.

Show me a technically superior watch at the price. Tudors have been too bulky and lacking refinement but they seem to be bringing them back into line. Just wonder if the watch will wear a little head heavy on the jubilee and rubber options. Smart looking piece will make a solid daily wear beater for those babying much more expensive watches. Looking forward to handling this new trajectory for Tudor.

Getting the higher level certification was smart. Their movements are very accurate and they probably didn't have to make any changes.

In a previous video, you said Longines should be the natural competitor of Tudor (and not omega). But with these kind of pieces, I don't know how Longines can do. The gap is huge. An increasing their price will not be a good option for Longines, I think. By the way as always good job fot the W&W coverage 👏

I can't seem to find an answer to my question: Would the rubber strap be compatible with the older 41 mm Black Bay models? I know that this one is a bit thinner, but as an actual diver owning an older 41 model I really need this rubber strap.

Need not just a red bezel, but a red dial too. Can play with different tones of red, make it a grand crus, premier crus, village and bourgogne, just like Burgundian wines. Or make it a Gevry, Chambertin, Morey St Denis , NSG, Vougeot, Musigny and Vosne Romanee collection. Issue one watch a year.

bracelet was always the weakness of the Black Bay. So the fact that they have jubilee now which looks like high quality is a massive win.

Thx for mentioning the dial size. I think it's one of the most overlooked detail of the watches appearance on the wrist. A perfectly sized watch (lug to lug wise for example) can appear tiny on the wrist just because of the small dial. For me personally the speedmaster and the submariner are good examples - the submariner even more.
