Sherpas get paid to take you to the top of mountains ...
but they won't get a peny to carry your dead body to Basecamps
they won't get a peny to rescue you wd enough medical suppliers ...
I was really flabbergasted by such humanitiarian works ....
Sherpas must be recognized all across the globe for there bravery there innocence and undoubtedly there friendly attitudes

Just because nepal doesn't have good economic conditions, westereners use them as a tool to climb.
They do not get any recognition which is very unfortunate.

I appreciate this documentary for telling the truth and in a nice way.

Some sherpas are already abusive because they think that the foreign climbers are always dependent to them. Sherpas are not heroes because they are paid that much to do their job , but even so they leave tourist behind even if they need to help them. So why call them heroes?

For me , sherpas are no longer considered heroes because i saw them slap, punch, kick and throw stones at the tent of foreign climbers despite the tourists already kneeling in front of them.

Finally. Thank you so very much for this! The Sherpas are the strongest mountaineers in the world. Very FEW can handle Everest without them..yet others get the glory…. but we all know it’s the SHERPAS making it really happen. By the comments you can still see the servant mentality some climbers have. They should say…yeah the Sherpa kept me going, kept me alive, made my dream possible. The Sherpas climb to the top of the world to provide for their family! True Heroes and examples of Love. ♥️ They inspire me.

Νο doubt about Sherpas are heroes. But! The fact that they get paid as guides or whatever u wanna call it it makes it a job. It's a business! U wanna call it ethnic group business?! sure! But u can't deny that fact. For example if there was no payment to Sherpas I think the population of summiters would be the half

With a lot of money the westerners are throwing just to summit Everest, the government should also do their part in protecting these sherpas like providing them health insurance etc. and most specially to those families who lost their love ones from climbing the mountain.

It’s very selfish of anybody to put themselves in such a dangerous environment and then expect someone else to risk their lives to save them😡😡😡🤬🤬
Everyone on this planet has a duty of care for their own safety. 🤷‍♂️ the sherpa’s are always the heroes 💪💪 everyone else on the mountain are selfish muppets 🤷‍♂️🙄
