As a indian i can confirm bengoli , odia and ahmia ( Assamese) all are sister language infact till 200 Ad they have same kind script , same letter ....but due to dravidian influence on odia its slightly intermix with it and due to tibetian influnce in assamese its slightly intermix,, and bengoli is mixed with maithili ....so its slightly different from each other ..in terms of pronunciation and script but ,,the 3 can totally understand what other is trying to say ......they are sister language of single mothet indo- Aryan ( sanskrit) derived from prakshit

I just love the Bengali sample for the provided text, sounds so sweet & melodic (perhaps because Bengali is my second language). And the Odia one is also good, sounds almost exactly alike to Bengali (well despite the different script, it is a sister language to Bengali just like Assamese) except for the vowels being articulated at the end of most words, the lack of sh sound and more emphasis on the r sounds.

I like how Bengali and Odia are so similar, partially because they are both pretty Sanskritised and partially because they are sister languages like German and Dutch. Although it would be easier from someone from Mandarmani to understand Odia as opposed to someone from Kolkata.
