Fainally....He got a Olympic ticket
See you at Paris in 2024
I think Trippel was Injured but im not 100% sure
ОтветитьMuy buenos hipones si señor así se hace Judo
ОтветитьNot in this video but Uta Abe's koshi guruma from the world championship has to be in the top ippons of the year.
Keep up the great work man I love your videos!
Good point about the Japanese, they are traditionalists to the core, but in this day and age with the ban on leg grabs, there needs to be adjustments and Japanese don't adjust too well.
This "name the technique" issue is only used to fit narratives, not everyone can pull clean techniques like Abe.
Dota Arai is absolute genius. I love this boy.

Not sure if it's a big ask but I'm new to watching Judo so may I ask you to include names of the competitors and maybe their country/category in your videos. Thanks a ton and keep it up!
Ответитьuchi mata look difficult for taller fighters
ОтветитьIn regards to nameless techniques...I think it's more purist when scoring was based on diminishing control, ippon for a square delivery to the back, wazari for side to back, Yuko for bum to side, Koka for bum to ground.
Ippon of the year...the heavyweight who countered a counter with a kata garuma/seionage technique..it was flow state, found and at heavyweight with that strength...and I've never seen that before, all adds to perfect judo and at least a candidate spot.
Loving your narration btw. Chr from Aotearoa
Judo doesn't continue in the ground?
Ответитьi dont think Bashaevs one should be called uchi mata sukashi, its uki goshi, hand technique usually done by mongolians
Ответить🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🤝🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿✊✊❤
ОтветитьFirst one: Sumi-otoshi, second one: O-uchi-gaeshi.
ОтветитьYondonperenlei could have found himself disqualified for that behaviour. There's no place for it.
ОтветитьI think its all sumi otoshi them nameless. I loved every minute of that, was the whole fandango👍👍💪🥃
Ответитьcongrats on 100k, thank you <3
ОтветитьHahaha. Judo is wrestling(not Olympic wrestling) with rough pajamas!
Wrestling is as ancient as human and animal existence on this planet.
And you don't have to name anything to take someone down or throw them on their back!
Aaron Wolf is my personal favourite and an inspiration. In fact, I started judo at the begining of this year thanks to him by watching his videos on YT. You know the ones with Donmai where he goes to highschool training and beat the crap at every student 😂. Even though its in japanese and I dont understand a word, it is still a great watch.
Before discovering him I was a poor Bjj guy with Zero stand up game. And now, one year in the making, I'm shit standing but at least I have an orange belt!
(Oh, and your highlights of his Uchimata and Ouchi are crazy good! Thx for those, watched them a ton)
I really hope he's selected for the Olympics. He may not win it, or even medal, but at least we get to see him more. Hopefully we get more ippons to watch from. Then he'll retire and will get more sweet judo content on YT, and even maybe an instructional!
I really liked his yoko otoshi/lat drop and his yoko guruma during this Tokyo GS. And thanks for your content!
I feel that if it’s not deemed a clean throw the match should continue on the mat, or fighting back to standing for a second throw attempt.
ОтветитьCan you make a 'creating a JudoHighlights video'?
ОтветитьNew olympic dilemma: Russia (or AIN I guess) -100kg.
ОтветитьSaito is too fat rn... He can barely move 😮
ОтветитьExcellent footage and commentary as always. Yeah, I also hope that they'll park this "no name technique = no point" mantra. This might open a more creative judo down the road.
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Do you have it with japanese commentary as well? They always go mental.
ОтветитьCongrats on the 100k subs, hopefully you will do a vid talking about yourself and what you are doing in japan
Ответитьall does technique with out a name is called bulldozer lol 🌽
ОтветитьAwesome vid!!! Your third last ippon, Gantulga - Kim with the obi tori gaeshi score. What do you think happened to Gantulga!? I saw that one live (on JudoTV) and it shocked me.
ОтветитьDidn't think tasoev was an uchi mata guy
ОтветитьAs there is a big break after this Saturday, do you plan on making some judoka ippon videos? I think you could make really entertaining video of Tushishvili's highlights, if you go through his contests since let's say 2017, you'd find some really incredible stuff.
Ответить100k! Time to spill the beans!
ОтветитьInteresting theory about the drop Seo especially if you factor in Nomura. I’m toying with the idea that maybe Nomura was more fundamentally sound than the next generations. Or. Perhaps we’re seeing a change in the work ethic and modern judokas are chasing easier techniques.
ОтветитьFor your Information: Trippel has had a lot of knee problems since the olympics and is basiclly struggeling to get back on full health. Nice video, keep the work up!
ОтветитьTasoev is such a good judoka, hope he's in the Olympics.
ОтветитьSome guys are turning the judo into wresting.... really sad
ОтветитьThat second ippon from Bashaev....
ОтветитьI blame Travis Stevens for spreading this whole "split hip" bs.
