looks like what?
ОтветитьI have a 2009 iMac that I’m trying to use as a second display but the mini display cable doesn’t go all the way in the port. Has anyone else had this happen? The cable goes into all of my other Mac’s with thunderbolt as well as mini display. Just not the 2009 iMac.
ОтветитьOkay, never mind the fancy intro, two things here: first, you're not showing, only talking about a mini display port fitting inside a Thunderbolt cable—what does that look like? Second, it's "dual", not "duel"—we don't want these Macs 'n' monitors duelling w/each other, we want them to work in unison as a team, to lovingly embrace each other. So please take this step-by-step and show us you doing it.
ОтветитьHi, I have an old imac from 2006 which is getting hard to use, so in order to not disposal it i thought to buy a new one and connect it to use it as a monitor, it is possible? Thanks
ОтветитьNice mouse XD
Ответитьgotta love a video where they say "The mini display port looks like this" and they don't show you one to look at.

He keeps saying 'the mini display port hookup looks like this'.... I watched it 4 times and still can't see what it looks like
ОтветитьWait i need to know how it works with the thunderbolt cable lmao
ОтветитьHello! I own 2 iMacs: a mid-2011 and a late-2012. According to Apple website, I should be able to connect the 2 machines (both support Target Display Mode). So I got a Mini Displayport cable (not Thunderbolt; just mini DP), but command+F2 doesn't work. In fact, I noticed that in Systems Preferences / Display, neither iMacs show the "Arrangement" tab I was supposed to view at this stage... Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong? Is it the cable, that should be Thunderbolt?
ОтветитьTHANK YOU! No one is sharing that cable - whew!
ОтветитьWill this work with a Macbook Air and Macbook Pro?
ОтветитьI have a 2010 and a 2011 but this doesn't work
Ответить2020??
ОтветитьWill this work on Catalina? With 2 newer iMacs?

ОтветитьDueling displays? That’s not what I want!

ОтветитьHELP. Both my iMacs have mini display port so i am connecting them Via mini Display port but the F2 function is not working. One of my iMacs is a 2008 model and I read that iMacs made before 2009 cannot work as Duel display. Is there a solution to make it work???

Ответитьdoes this work with two mac book pros?
ОтветитьHow is GPU strain on the Macs? Will one take the load, or will it do the work evenly? Like for example: if I play video games at the same time on both Macs...
