Ok we now understand the issue - There is code missing. There are actually seperate items you might want to consent to. If you click decline consent then you also decline the use of cookies which is mandatory for any ads to be shown - even non specific ads.

If you go onto stack overflow, a user shows code where you can access the shared preferences and the fuctions return wether specific ads are enabled, wether non specific ads are possible or if they have selected to block all your ads. If they block non specified apps as well then you can load an acticity that explains that your app is advert supported and you let them try again.

We attempted adding this to our apps and swiched over to the test adID. If we select do not consent then the ads dont show and the error 3 we get shows no fill. I understood that there will still be adverts allowed but they will be non personal ads.

Did you try run this shit in a webview app ????? . Did you try this shit on a real devices ??? Its only working ok in emulators . Every single real device ( even same internet connection ) gives different behavior while atleast 30mbit connection speed in phone . Blocking webview and NEVER open on first try . After go another urls with webview and call showconsentformIfRequired() in webviews onPageFinished === then it works . It takes almost 30 second to show a fucking dialog holy fk

hi @AdMob, how to handle first request to UMP SDK if the device have no data connection? Currently UserMessagingPlatform returns "Error making request" on requestConsentInfoUpdate call, but what's the flow you suppose we (developers) implement?

My app already only shows non-personalised ads as the audience includes children, how do I use the UMP in this scenario? The UMP message includes a line about "using your information for personalised ads", but this is not allowed per Google Play rules (personalised ads not allowed for audience including children). It seems Admob and Google Play are contradicting each other and there's no way to resolve this? Very confusing. There needs to be a way to remove the "personalised ads" text from UMP.
