Your life was stolen before it had begun. I'm so sorry. There are monsters that make this world a hell scape and you deserved a shot of navigating life without the scars of abuse pulling you back. I hope wherever you are, you are healed, rebuilt and loved. Having only stumbled across this video today, I can say having not known you, the world would have been a little less shitty for having you in it. Shine on wherever you are gorgeous soul.

Trouble watching this. This is much more than transgenderism. It's abuse at the most extreme. After reading of his OD, I'm going to have to stop watching after ten minutes. Just too sad. I think he is in a better place now.

I watched this when it was first posted & was so struck by how open Jake was & what a beautiful person he was. I watch watched this again today & only just found out that he had died almost a year ago. I feel so sad to read this. Jake, you are a beautiful soul & I know that you are resting in peace & that your brother, Steve is there with you ♥. Idk why i feel like i feel the pain he’s feeling even though in no way whatsoever know what he went through. I know this might sound a bit insensitive but in a way death is a sweet release from pain and trauma. It would’ve been very difficult for him to live a normal life. And its hard to try its exhausting to fight against ur own demons. Hes not suffering anymore hes at eternal peace. Theres nothing in this world more evil than a fully aware grown person abusing a child. Let alone a parent. Why bring people in to this world when all ur gonna do is use them as they were an object for ur own benefit. Ive lost faith in humanity a long time ago.

It's absolutely heartbreaking as Jake seemed like such a well educated and interesting individual with nothing but good intentions. It disgusts me to know that his father faced absolutely no regret or remorse in his vile actions.
