Launched as part of Culture Night in 2012, the launch of 'Erins Songs - A Shared Legacy' is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for Sean Smith.
A lifelong interest in the work of Thomas Moore, and in particular 'Moore's Irish Melodies' of which this CD is a collection, led to Sean recording this CD.
The CD was recorded through a Kildare County Council Bursary in the Platform4 Audio and Digital Media Studio, and the project has been continually supported up to completion by Eoghan Doyle, Assistant County Arts Officer with Kildare County Council.
