well yes this would also work but remember drives are plugged in and plugged out to move data or store it. this would be more useful if instead it dropped malware each and every time it was plugged in automatically without the targets awareness. basically a manually driven stealer that sends the stolen stuff to a ftp server. it would be perfect to gift to an employee they take it to work and plug it in yo copy a file to work at home and bam c2 malware gets dropped. the one your showing would work better if it can be hidden inside a mouse or keyboard that is always plugged in and hard wired. to a backdoored mouse
