They are not living good lives. They are working dogs you are torturing them by keeping them confined in such a small space. They are chubby. It’s a disgrace. Don’t buy dogs from this guy! I just purchased one recently. Her mother was larger than me (large man) and absolutely ferocious. She looked like a lion. Her little puppy has adapted to life on my farm here like a duck to water

He is just not willing/able to train them. Lazy dog owner, who thinks he has it all figured out. You can absolutely have a perfect guard dog, that can be ferocious one second and friendly the next second , if you have trained them well.

This guy's stragegy is just wrong. Socializing these dogs doesn't remove their guardian instinct. There are already few people who are fit to own large guardian dogs, but with his approach he drastically reduces that number even more. He wants the dogs to not even tolerate relatives, friends? What happens when the owners have to go a way for a while, get sick or die? The dogs have to be put down? He's not thinking of the practical side of things. I would not recommend to buy a dog from him.

This is a fascinating breed of dog, but I wouldn't trust a word this guy has to say about them. Most owners of these dogs say they are wonderfully smart and receptive to training, and socialization. His constant references to "reinforcing the dog's natural instincts" should be a huge alarm bell. That's what breeders of fighting dogs claim, as well. If his dogs are aggressive, it's because he bred and trained them to be. And the fact that he keeps everyone from seeing how the dogs are handled and trained should also be a big red flag.

This dogs are ony for work.

With dogs doing this they cant guard nothing, dog charging the fence is easy way to control. They are just unsocialised any dog can do this but they are far away from efective guarding.

These types of dogs will consume your life. They can't be boarded, can't go to "doggie daycare", really can't be watched by a friend, really can't be obedience trained. You won't go on many family vacations if you own these breeds. You must be willing to dedicate your life them, and they'll certainly dedicate their lives to you.

I remember encountering a Kangal that had 4th position in the family and was punished for being assertive and being himself. Not violently, but He was criticized a lot. You could see it in his eyes that he didn't understand what he did wrong, I really felt sorry for him. Nino is right, you cannot train these highly intelligent and independent dogs to be your pet.

I live in South Carolina and we have a ban against our pitbull breed being enforced.
Just my brain working from what I believe I know about dogs but with all dogs being descendants of wolves isn't it really just common sense that it's safe to say we can do away with using bans against pitbull and if not then shouldn't we ban all dog breeds in general sense we are singling out one particular breed
