The board is not card then? Is it just a thin printed glossy paper?
ОтветитьRolling out new Spearheads for the factions is, IMO a good idea. Means people who already play can get different models and different playstyles for their faction, keeps the game evolving and makes it more like an actual mode you play long term rather than purely a stepping stone to AoS.
ОтветитьAt this price point, just a small stapled booklet feels kinda cheap. Even if it's just a reprint of the base rules, a more meaty, properly bound book would make this feel like a more well-rounded product.
Ответитьat least this pack came with a book, was so pissed the last set didnt
ОтветитьSaturday morning reviews!🎉🥳🎉🎊🤩🫡
ОтветитьGreat review, Ash.
ОтветитьThis is cool, thanks Ash!
ОтветитьSpooky scary!
ОтветитьEverything you talked about didn’t seem to be on video - so sounded like you were pointing at scenery while talking, and sounded like you were showing board not laying flat but didn’t see.
ОтветитьOmg I just realized we played the battle tactics wrong as they were all shuffled together 😅. Love the format, but that is deffo annoying! Appreciate the review, boards that don't stay flat is deffo a pet peeve
ОтветитьYo homie, nobody knows what the hell you're talking about with the mat because your 1 camera is just pointed at a random corner and your other device isn't low enough to see anything.
Ответитьthe intro is too long and too high volume in my opinion
ОтветитьI’m super pleased that they are keeping up Spearhead.
ОтветитьNow is a good time for that Spearheadz shirt.
ОтветитьYou always picked the deployment style in the first set too. Each side of the battlefield board can use either deployment map. Its seems clear that the crypt of Blood gets added to the diagonal one.
ОтветитьIn Fire and Jade, you always picked map side and deployment style separately and you do the same thing in Ash and Bone. Both map sides have a diagonal line going from close-left to far-right. From what I can see on the Ash and Bone map, both map sides have a diagonal line going from close-right to far-left. If you choose diagonal deployment styles, you use said diagonal line to mark the territory of each player.
I see people stumble on this rule a lot, and the only reason I can find is that the deployment rules have used one of the map sides as an example to show horisontal deployment and the other as an example to show diagonal deployment. But all map sides from both Fire/Jade and Ash/Bone have a diagonal line, and why would they have that if you couldn't pick diagonal deployment. Besides, the original Spearhead reference had the exact same rules as here in Ash/Bone. Quote from the Spearhead Reference from last year:
"Pre-battle Sequence
[...]
Step 3: Defender chooses Aqshy or Ghyran side of realm battlefield.
Step 4: Defender picks deployment map (horizontal or diagonal) and chooses which territory is theirs."
