The plastic prison never made sense for Magneto. They had camera's, electricity, and computers in that prison. All things that CANNOT function without metal in them. If Magneto could sense trace amounts of metal in his guard's body and rip it out, why couldn't he do it for the electrical wiring or the computer soldering?

I'm strictly talking MCU Magneto here. I don't understand how he can be viewed as a "villain". What person wouldn't use all their powers to protect their families and brethren? I certainly would. As far as humankind, if their fear overpowers their ability to act "humanely" and peacefully towards mutankind and seek to imprison, control, harm or kill them, then I would do exactly what Magneto did. I believe Magneto is the tragic hero of the X-men cinematic movies. Loved one after loved one, murdered before his eyes. Not only does he have to fight a whole other species, he has to fight with Charles constantly making him question his morality and basis of his, at times, violently murderous actions. Charles does this WITHOUT exercising mind control, just appealing to Eric's inner morality. Eric isn't a cold hearted killer, he is a loving man and has been wounded deeply. Magneto is the murderous vengeance that lives inside Eric for the horrific traumas he has been victimized by. If I was a mutant, I would join Magneto and unless myself and fellow mutants could convince the homo sapiens sapiens of a peaceful existence.....I would unleaash the full fury that is Magneto far beyond what has ever been shown in the MCU movies. There are some horrific things that can be done with a planet that has a molten iron core that can be manipulated by a person consumed by rage and vengeance. I believe only Jean could really stop him as long as he has the helmet to keep Charles out of his mind or someone in possession of the infinity stones.

The fact that they call magneto a villain when the whole time he was just trying to live in harmony, and he wanted to liberate the mutants who just wanted to be seen as normal, it was the humans who were the real monsters the whole time

The creators of modern movies now have to nerf villains so bad to make a good plot. In the comics Magneto can shoot beams of electromagnetic energy and control the electromagnetic spectrum which allows him to release volatile radiation, additionally he can make nearly indestuctable force fields which he demonstrated in apocalypse and even turn invisible by bending light around him.

I certainly expected more scenes where he's just bullying Wolverine.
