I'm not Argentine American, nor am I British. I am U.S. American, but we need to clarify some things. First off, we must remember, that, while the Republic of Argentina didn't exist in 1592, the oldest colonial towns in the Republic of Argentina can be traced back to before the 1590s. In the modern World, the Republic of Argentina is one of the oldest countries, as it became a country on July 9th, 1816. This was still 55 years before the German Empire even existed. In fact, the Commonwealth didn't even exist until the 1900s. I personally think it was stupid for Las Islas Malvinas, to remain part of the United Kingdom, which is over 8,000 miles away from the islands, when the Republic of Argentina is only 300 miles, (460 kilometers), away from the islands. Spaniards have been in America longer than most people realize. Not to mention, Canada has only been self Governing since 1867, but every single one of the Spanish speaking countries in Mainland America, became Republics between 1810, and 1821, which means that not only are they some of the oldest countries in the modern World, they predate many inventions. All of these countries became Republics, before many modern inventions were made, including the Braille System, (1824), the telegraph, (1830), and even Morse Code, (1830s). The British only got ahold of a few places in Mainland America, but the Spaniards got ahold of most. In fact, in the entire South Region of America, the British only got control of the Republic of Guyana, so, they did poorly with colonizing not just the South Region of America, but the whole continent, whereas the Spaniards were far more successful.
