First of all, these are some of the best and most helpful videos I have personally seen on trading, and I have seen A LOT, so thank you very much, and please continue!

As someone relatively unexperienced in trading I mainly want to keep things simple with only 1 or 2 tools. Would a simple footprint chart or just volume delta be enough to gain an edge in the market? I prefer to go in depth, and become an expert, and just a few things, so I don't have 53 tabs open, confuse myself and overanalyze.

that's all cool, but I am a professional day trader with just candlesticks. In order to move price up there has to be a agressive inflow. This inflow can be easily seen with 1 min candlesticks in 1 hour candles. it is as easy as you make it yourself. You derive just from the footprint chart there is support or resistance holding, and there could be indeed a reversal upcomming. But this is as speculative as trading with candlesticks and momentumindicators. They both tell the same story, they both point out a high probability trade opportunity in the same direction. but I won't say the one is better then the other. Eventhough 'professional traders' use this method. I know people who are making more than professional traders, using 'retail' strategies. that's crazy. All love tho. I use volumeprofile to to find my sniper entry in supply and demand zones

Sooo, if I understand right, you don't actually need L2/DOM data for footprint chart, since they only need filled orders as data, right? You don't actually even need top-of-order book data, only a record of trades executed. And information about whether the a trade was executed based on a new market order (as opposed to two limit orders coming together). Is that right?

if i use a regular broker like oanda to do basic trading on forex pairs and sometimes indices, can i get away with a sierra chart package that doesnt include the live cme data since im not trading futures?
any chance youd have a reccomendation for which sierra chart package best fits my situation?
I have a strategy but i want to get into footprint charts with the intention of confirming my entries, will they?

Great video. I'm new to futures trading and just getting started. Unlike stock trading where you simply open a brokerage account and start trading using the broker platform, it seems futures landscape is way more complicated and as a newbie, I'm having a hard time trying to make sense of all these brokers, platforms and softwares.

So from what I understand, there are 4 main components that need to be setup to start trading futures -

1. Brokerage
2. Platform (client software)
3. Datafeed provider
4. Charting software

Now I'm primarily interested in trading ES using order flow strategies so I would need a footprint chart, volume profile, delta, DOM ladder etc.

Down the line I would like to automate some of these strategies using custom algorithms or scripts. How can I automate some of these orderflow strategies?

What would be the best combination of broker, platform, charting softwares and datafeed I should go with?

Another thing is, although I'm currently based in US, I may move to Canada in future and want to be able to continue trading ES from over there. Furthermore, since I'm an Indian citizen, I wanted to know what additional software would I need if I had to trade the Indian Nifty futures (from NA or India).
