ОтветитьI recently tried to explain the whole 'vinegar (an acid) neutralizes backing soda (a base)' thing to a plumber to no avail.
He condescendingly responded 'but I'm the plumber'. I shrugged and told the truth: I am a scientist who also happens to teach organic chemistry. I offered to write out the reaction equation for him, but he declined insisting that it always works for his other clients. Oh, and also to pour boiling water down the pipe. I then tried to explain it was boiling water doing the trick rather than the neutralized acid-base reaction, but he's a big manly-man and I'm woman, so of course he remained certain he was correct (he was still wrong).
The building manager, who also tries to be an 'alpha male' agreed with the plumber. Because I already don't get along with the building manager I chose the path of not making waves and agreed to give the useless method a try. However, that was several weeks ago and the building manager has yet to provide me with baking soda and vinegar so, shucks-darn (finger snap) I am unable to implement the useless idea. I still pour boiling water down the drains periodically, but I did that already before and never had an issue with them (the plumber was in my apartment because the downstairs neighbour was having trouble with his drains and apparently gravity is not in thing in this plumber's world either.
I'm AMAZED!!! I absolutely love learning helpful life hacks like these!!! Awesome Content Be Amazed!!! ❤Jen
ОтветитьThat paper didn't salve the zipper of the track it only solved the zipper handle!!!!!
ОтветитьAs far as hangovers I always have gatorade on hand... down a bottle of it... 15 minutes later you feel fine... It puts electrolytes back in you that the alcohol took away. I have a life hack from camping many years ago. We took a little grill to make burgers but forgot a spatula... I grabbed a stick and put it hold of my empty beer can then smashed it down flat with hammer we had. Beer can spatula worked great. LOL
ОтветитьNot that good...I thought the zipper you would get it back to the pair zipper teeth, but you showed how to handle....Have a 💔💔👎🏽👎🏽
ОтветитьThe cup out of plastic bottle was interesting but not practical, if you pour hot water into those plastic bottles they'll shrink and warp.
Ответить"One clove a day keeps the mosquitoes away"
Us Indians eating approximately 20000 cloves and many other spices a year and still getting bitten :(
Bro why did you make a video for dummies? Hahahaha!!!!!!! Every oerson that actually thought there were NOT easier ways to do this stuff are, exactly dummies. Lol
ОтветитьFor a sink, I use hydrogen peroxide
ОтветитьFace reveal face reveal face reveal face revealed play for real face for real face for real
ОтветитьDoes a tea bag actually REMOVE bad odor from a shoe, or just cover it up?? be honest when you put these videos out.. the small amount of foil you use to keep a few bananas fresh is more expensive then just only buy the couple or so you need for the couple days until you go to the store again.
ОтветитьThe knife branding with graphite. You can do safer . Slowly grind a lighters flint without ignition (upside down) till you get a sizeable pile. Draw out your desired pattern words . Then light it!. It burns in a line like gunpowder. And also binds like a weld.
ОтветитьBe careful with the natural oils ect especially peppermint around cats , but even with dogs
ОтветитьA lot of melted and burned healthy plastic to put in your mouth...
ОтветитьVinager is so grose
Ответить$24 for a poster,dont think so
ОтветитьMy friend taught me the sticky note one

ОтветитьNever Watched This Video Yesterday But I Am Today I Hope I Like It.
ОтветитьFor the wine corkscrew, I found a screw, at least 1 inch, works better than a nail 😉
ОтветитьOne more use of rubber bands, put several of them around your boots on the area just below your toes and others further down towards ankle and you won"t slip on ice.
ОтветитьWhen it comes to the wine bottle and the cork? Instead of using the nail? Use a Philips screw? Because when you screw into the cork, the threads will grip the cork! Unlike the nail?
The nail doesn't have any threads to grip the cork! Then you can use the pliers to pull out the cork!
Also if you use the nail, you have to pound in the nail, possibly causing the cork to be forced inside the bottle more?
"simple life hacks". Shows us difficult and complicating crafts.
ОтветитьWho knew plastic bottles can be used in such efficient ways makes me think plastic may not be bad after all at least not if you upcycle them
ОтветитьJokes on you I din't have enough clothes to need ANY of these tricks
ОтветитьI am amazed
Ответить"Soul-dering" iron??? 🙄
Ответитьha as a kid we used to do the water bottle thing lime we had skills hahahaha
ОтветитьSo the life hack with the wine is not a nail. A nail can get pulled out of the corkscrew. You use a screw and then you can pull it out with a pair of players.
ОтветитьAnn Reardon @HowToCookThat already debunked the banana hack.
Hot water will break the rubber seal and cause a leak.
These hacks are really useful and easy, ill totally use one of these in the future
ОтветитьUgh! That bathtub scene from The Money Pit. 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьFor the DIY mug one, don't put boiling water in plastic unless you know it can take it. I used empty pop bottles for tea long ago and when I took a sip from one, it had a horrible taste. I dumped the tea out and noticed it melted the inside of the plastic a bit.
ОтветитьThis plastic life hacks can help the environment 😊😊
ОтветитьActually, after adding baking soda and vinegar, you have to close the sinkhole so that the carbon dioxide (CO2) gives extreme pressure and unclogs the sinkhole, but it can't clean it
ОтветитьNice 👍
ОтветитьIts better to just mark the knife with a permanent marker
