Why not use trains to bring all the copper? You've got 1800 copper per minute right next to the tracks. Would stopping at the stations take too much time?

Edit 2: I like your central storehouse. The closest I have is a storage container tower that keeps getting taller. And since I want the first thing I feed into the awesome sink to be a plutonium fuel rod, none of them are labeled.
the realest part of this was the motors being a problem in building the refineries, no matter how many you make you'll get screwed by motors at some point
