ОтветитьMissing my home town, this was a treat. Thank you for publishing.
ОтветитьTime flies but Summit looks very similar to the early and mid 1980s when I shopped and worked there. Took a lot of pics a few years ago but no vids so thanks for putting this up!
ОтветитьAny hipsters or fat yuppies with goatees and white bmw's?
ОтветитьSadie Sink lives there
ОтветитьI was born in Summit 1948, grew up in Springfield nest town over. I got excited to see the Summit DIner still there, I ate breakfast and lunch there many times. Summit downtown had a lot to offer for a suburban town. I saw many movies at the Summit Theater.
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful, clean and quiet city, this partly explains a great AirBnb guest that I had at my house in the extreme south of Chile, Punta Arenas. the lady's name is Hanna Park, those who know her must be very lucky .🙂
ОтветитьI saw my first movie at Summit’s movie house (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), bought shoes at Buster Brown (there was a Nickelodeon!), and would get a piece of bologna at the meat store. Once a year my grandma would take me on the Phoebe Snow out of Summit station. This was in the early 1960s. One set of grandparents was in Summit, another in Short Hills, and we lived in New Providence.
