I disagree with Destiny on the 1948 war. Israel was legitimate and no country had the right to declare war on it for the purpose of destroying it. I would not have fought if I were a Palestinian.

Nothing about this situation is good. People can talk about this forever and ever but if 80% of the population wants to kill the other then there is no ideal solution. The people who are trying their best to help the Palestinians have no answer for resolution that aligns with the Palestinians ideals. I wish Israel wasn’t the ones to have to do the fighting because they are too emotional and not capable enough to do it the best way but there is no way around that either. It’s going to be a dark decade in the region no matter what anybody says. Let’s just hope it doesn’t get too big and too dark for the rest of the world.

Getting 20.9% of the land, if your goal is to get 22% of the land and when you have and for 50-60 years have had nothing, may not be wonderful incredible humanitarianism to prompt massive gratitude but it is pretty great compared to that nothing and also to the goal of 22% or even a little higher than 22%. I dont care about the politics of this whole thing. If i had even one iota of belief that cenk was smart or had a defensible position, it was shattered right here.
