Love your reviews! I have the 1098 and have tried the V4 for a short test ride. The 1098 is more of a handfull, absolutely! Trying the V4 was really an eye-opener, I did not have to think! The bike (sort of) knew where you where heading. I still love my 1098 for the drama it brings, but the V4 is a monumental step forward.

I am 5'6" -7". I currently ride my dirt bike with a much higher seat height. But, my bike I am able to adjust the free sag as well as race sag. Is there any sag or rider sag adjustability on the V4 or V2?? To make it more friendly for guys like me?

Here's my thoughts: these super nakeds are ridiculous and getting worse. I love Supersports and I ride them fast, but I really do not enjoy naked bikes unless I'm not on the freeway for more than 10 minutes or I keep it under 65mph. What is the point of 200hp if they are worthless and unusable past that? You know what these bikes NEED and only Aprilia doing, is bikini fairings.

I understand my perspective is probably more American than European, where these bikes make more sense. I also live in a big city where freeway travel is 90% of my commute.

Decent review but I'm sick n tired of all the overkill in making these large naked bikes with over 140 hp. Young riders keep dreaming thinking the best bikes are out of reach. Seriously though!?What speeds can U take these turns at, these roads that most people ride? Are we going to the track with naked bikes even once or twice every mth? If not, then WTH!? They cost more, wear out tires faster, more electronic bullcrap features just to help riders corner at the same speeds an 80 hp naked will do without the gizmos and U build rider skills by 'feeling' the traction. I'll take an SV650 Suzuki or MT07 and smoke most of these riders with $ to burn all day long, and no I won't need traction control in the corners. When i started out my fst yr of riding, it was the experienced riders on 250 Ninjas smoking the squids on GSXR750s and ZX7s on Angeles Crest H'way in LA.

ZH2 might carry more weight, but it's not going to be a slouch. It'll actually be planted at speed like a naked "GT" bike.
SAE dyno factors in the USA already have it 184 hp and 94 ft-lb at the wheel stock, with as much as 80 ft-lb @ 6,000 rpm. Based on the H2SX modifications (exhaust slip-on, intake filter, ECU flash), we can see this ZH2 making at least 240 whp with a weight loss of around 20 pounds probably (exhaust, battery, other bits). Take that into consideration and after modifications, we ESTIMATE 240 hp and 507 LB curb. That's 1 HP every 2.11 LB. Brock's Performance fully modified GSX-R1000R project made just over 200 whp with weight below 430 lbs. That's about 1:2.11 (hp/LB). Same ratio. This "heavy" ZH2 would make identical full-mod GSX-R1000R power to weight, but without any lack of torque being S/C.
It doesn't matter about the weight.
