Just followed your process with pork ribs mate, cheers for the help come out good 👌🏽
ОтветитьShould you always keep the side door ajar??
ОтветитьDid you give a sample to your dog :)
ОтветитьPoor dog is still waiting paitienly till this day for a little piece 😢
ОтветитьThanka for the vid mate. Newbie question: Do I havw to use splits or will wood chips work as well?
ОтветитьI'm just getting into bbq smoking thanks for the video
ОтветитьWhy do you cut the fat off at the start?
ОтветитьTerrible video, jumpy, jerky, bad accent and not much info, no theory!
ОтветитьPa, die hond!
Ответитьgreat vid
ОтветитьI'm sorry, but if you come to NC USA and dont see smoke coming out of a smoker it just means they are not using it. All the award winning BBQ participants have smoke coming out of their smokers. My neighbors can tell when I've got my smokers going for the smoke and the smell. And, of course, they just happen to drop by to see what I am smoking and can they get a piece.
ОтветитьThis video helps a lot! Unfortunately I cheaped out on my grill and the doors stay ajar a little bit lol hopefully I can find a way to keep them closed for better heat management.
ОтветитьI like The Smokey Taste i like it when it Smokes 😊
ОтветитьThat smoke ring crazy
ОтветитьGive the dog some😢
ОтветитьI find closing the chimney cools the pit but don’t smoke so heavily as when you shut the door 👍🏼
ОтветитьWhere do you get the wood? Do you get it from bunnings? Is it seasoned??
ОтветитьGib the doggo sumsum man😂😂 he waiting for the juice tender meat😋
ОтветитьThanks finally I think I can do it now
ОтветитьHow was this char griller as in thinking of getting one
ОтветитьI'm sorry for this very amature question: I thought you wanted to keep temp around 225? Can you shed a little more light on this to help me understand?
ОтветитьHey Mate love your videos I’ve binge watched them all like there is no tomorrow, one question I have is when adding wood to an offset smoker, are you doing this to add heat/fuel source to your smoker?
Or simply just to get the smoke flavour through the meat? On the Weber kettle you use small pieces of hickory or cherry wood for flavour, but in this offset you use massive splits of wood. Is this to add fuel to the fire + heat to the smoker?
Or simply to infuse flavour?
Can you use an offset smoker with no wood at all?
Can I just ask what your spraying on it? I’m looking to start smoking but trying to be a geek and learn a fair bit before I start 👍🏻
ОтветитьGreat vid. What’s in the spritz bottle? Also would you spritz a steak or t-bone?
ОтветитьOne other thing you could do is when you spritz lol wrap the meat in foil use some onions butter a bit of your favorite alcohol or beer and let it sit the rest of the time like that and I would bet money you would be amazed
ОтветитьGreat video. I just tried my 1st smoke over the weekend with my char grill offset but maintaining the temp was a bit difficult. I found myself constantly adding more charcoal and wood splits. I noticed you never once added charcoal. Only wood splits. What am I doing wrong? I also do not have a thermometer to monitor the actual temp as you do, so I know I need one of those. Any suggestions? Thx in advance
ОтветитьPlease next time share it with your dog 😂
ОтветитьCan you give your opinion as to which off set smoker is better between Char Griller Grand Champ XD and OJ Higland?
ОтветитьHow does Char Griller compares to Oklahoma Joe’s?
ОтветитьHey man, why does when I light up the charcoal the flame doesn't stay lit? It dies down and the charcoal is just white and that... Thanks in advance.
ОтветитьHow often do you spray down the meat?
ОтветитьThat's awesome. Do you have a video for pork or chicken? Or even lamb? We don't eat much beef. Looks amazing. How long was start to finish?
Ответитьdoes smoking with charcoal cause carcinogens on the meat that can expedite cancer? what about smoking with wood only? any ways to reduce these health issues in the cooking process or techniques? Thanks!
ОтветитьAwesome video
ОтветитьThank you for the informative video. I'll be doing this tomorrow with ribs and chicken.
ОтветитьWho else was waiting for him to give a piece to the dog? 😂
ОтветитьI'm just mad that goodboy didn't get a piece 😂
ОтветитьWhat kind of wood was that?
Ответитьas a complete amateur to smokers this is really helpful, done loads of bbq,s but failed big time on my first smoker, due to dirty smoke.will tune in to future posts.
ОтветитьI was patiently waiting for you to give the dog a piece of meat
ОтветитьI can't believe you didn't give the pooch a taste. Poor little guy watching you enjoy what must have smelled like heaven. :)
BTW, I love what you did with the stone tiers and vegetation in the background. I'm going to try to mimic it to some degree.
Did you give the doggo some? i need to know!
ОтветитьI did it myself. I used Woodglut woodworking plans for this.
ОтветитьOne of my log pieces caught on fire while “warming” up over the smoker area 😂. Make sure it isn’t too hot guys 😂
ОтветитьDrakes really do have a great meat selection for a supermarket. Better than all of my local butchers
ОтветитьWhat’s in the spray bottle
ОтветитьHope you gave the dog some🐶
