The Ultimate Sim: How to Make a Super Sim in The Sims 4

Hey guys! James Turner created a beautiful updated checklist where you can change the setting based on packs you have, the age you are on and more. It’s all made in the same UI as sims and can track skills and careers per level, it’s really awesome so I highly suggest it, sorry to put down carls pinned checklist but I’m ngl James checklist is soooo much nicer. I’m redoing this challenge now from infancy, she’s about to be a teen now so here comes the big challenge

edit to add, it seems theyve replaced top notch toddler with top notch infant and gotten rid of the former, as maxing out all toddler skills gives something else

I did a test with one of my sims. She has top-notch infant, top-notch toddler, completed all of the child and teen aspirations including the ones from Growing Together and High School Years, reached the top of all the Teen After School Activities, Reached the top of the Video Gamer Streamer and Simfluencer careers, got Scouting Aptitude, has all of the positive Character Traits, has all of the reccommended reward traits, and she's a Dance Machine, Cheerful, and an Overachiever (Origninally Family-oriented but i changed it to overachiever because I was curious). She's also the daughter of Darell Charm, so she's got the Ancient Bloodline spellcaster trait. Her house is a Tier 2 Tiny House with Study Spot and Chef's Kitchen. She had NO cooking skill, made ONE Garden Salad, and by the time it was ready to eat she was at Level 8 Cooking skill I would definitely love to see what you can do with a Supersim like that.

When the sims switched from whims to wants, it was annoying to not be able to close out certain wants that were annoying and out of the way, especially since my super sim doesn't sleep. After enough of my sims had unfilled dreams constantly, I turned that B off due to frustration. Funny enough, when I reopened the game the next day the wants were turned back on automatically. I don't know how but they gave me lesser unfulfilled dreams and annoyances as well. So they're still on.....for now at least.

Wish I had the dlcs but my god they cost a fortune

I made a super sim in Sims 3 by just using vampire father and a human mother. the offpring could learn fast, train better, and so on. That remind of mixing chaos in Sony Adventure 2 battle.

The responsible trait is very good imo. Sims automatically work hard when they go to work and get promoted much faster. The polite introduction you get from good manners is cool as well

why i dont see childhood lot traits?

I made a group of what I call 'semi super Sims' for a superhero storyline that I decided to do in the Sims. It was fun! My favorite one was what I called an enchanter. Basically, maxed out charisma, was a celebrity, great kisser, seductive, acting, etc. He basically became a super casa nova. He was honestly super fun to play!

My second favorite was a girl who maxed out logic, programming, robotics, etc to become the teams scientist/provider of super hero items. Lol

Any ideas or thoughts bout how the upcoming werewolves will affect supersims?

Quite literally, I only tried some of these buffs, and within the first day of them being a young adult, they got level 6 cooking and painting. And I am still working on making him stronger lol.

I'm making a super sim rn-

I know this guide is 2 years old, but the Sulani Touristy Aspiration gives you the "Laid Back" trait, which does this: Sims who are Laid-Back never become tense. It's a fairly simple trait to get before you become a Vampire, as you cannot sun-tan as a Vampire, and that's required.

Something I learnt from testing, the sulani mana trait isn't inherited from spirits, but also inherited by any other sim with sulani mana, so you can actually get a child with all 3 birth traits!

I enjoyed making a super sim, and then maxing out all skills and aspirations... it made me play with the sims in different ways and try new things

I think what you were saying about mermaids and aliens being less powerful than vampires or spellcasters has a lot to do with them not getting a whole pack based on them (which might be obvious but ive never thought about it before)

If you play Sims 3 or 4 long enough, all your Sims end up being immortal super Sims. You just know the game mechanics that well.

Really curious how drama club as a youth career and how having a part time job as a teen may influence this "super sim" goal. I've just stumbled across this video, and TBH, this is how I always play my sims but also with MCCC and a few other mods like Preteen and the education mod. But most recently, I had my child sim complete scouting, join and max-out drama club when they became a preteen, and quit drama to join and max the fast food career as a teenager. I imagine for those who don't use mods, drama club and a part time job would be easy enough to complete successively on long lifespan both within the teen stage. Anyway, that would be the only modification I would make, but it prioritizes completing as much as possible more than specifically lending to the super sim, maybe. Thanks for the video, this was very informative!
