Improve your sewing by using interfacing instead of stay stitching to stabilise areas of your garment that require reinforcement.

Corners of a garment may require a reinforcement stitch if they need to be cut into to release the fabric or to enable sewing. Instead of using stay stitch, use a small piece of interfacing. Position the interfacing directly on top of the stitching line corner to reinforce the area.

I used this fusible interfacing: https://madetosew.com/product/vilene-flexible-seam-tape/
