Nice it's got a timing chain, everything else about valvetrain assembly I want nothing to do with.

Ur gonna need to make plugs for the injectors if ur not using them. Cant use them for plugs cause with no fuel going through them to cool them u will burn them up quick

I just found this video.. I can give a good tip for the Pins and clips that connect the piston to the rod without having to use Clips, due to how the piston/pin is made. Look up Steve Morris SMX builds and how he get's rid of that clip and its potential to get out from it position and blow up your motor.. But that's 2500+ HP engine, and costume made Pistons/pins for extreme HP's
Would recommend that channel to others, if you "Love big HP & Big Boost and can't Lie!!

motor assembly is almost same procedure as N54. similar engine too. is that an aluminum block? 135lb torque for studs, wow!! dont know how you managed to pull that off, special ARP studs i guess!

“Such a high torque” I am blind to normal torque specks from working on peterbilts. Torque speck for those is 200 on all 24 then 300 on all 24. The wheel (if we torque them) are 500.

Is the 6 Port B58 not better for the engine?

A wastegate is to keep excess boost (above your target boost) out of the engine ...
A blow-off valve (BOV) is to exhaust boost when you close the throttle.

Printed aluminium intake parts ?? It has to be the weakest aluminium part ever, granted intake is under no mechanical force but i'd worry it might crack with vibrations fatigue.

I'm grateful for not only the fact that you go as far as to show your process but also that you explain quite literally every purpose of your methodology and expand upon your reasoning for it.

I'm still very suspicious of that 6-to-2 "internal exhaust manifold". Seems to me you would want all that heat outside of the head quickly. By having the exhaust gasses hit a corner to be channeled along the inside of the head and then merging inside of the head before reaching the tubing and turbo, theyre just asking for heat related problems.

Favorite engine cuz it’s so underrated

to bad you deleted the air to water intercooler, air to water is far far more efficient than the traditional air to air.
also to bad you locked out the variable lift, which would make your power band alot more broad and less peaky.
other than that cool build.

I understand why people choose American engines now, they are easy to assemble and disassemble and you don’t need to invest in special tools that cost as much as the engine.
