It's interesting that the Chabad Movement seems to place little value on an aesthetic environment. If this video is truly representative of the Crown Heights community, there are few, if any, decorative elements in interiors or exteriors. This extends to personal appearance, without concern for the dictates of fashion clothing.

Sadly, they collect tons of welfare money. The women have loads of children, and many of the men just study Torah. Thus, they are very poor. Collecting taxpayer-funded aid seems to be very much at odds with their refusal to assimilate.

I love their websites and teachings. I won't study anywhere else. Their way is the right way.

Would love to see what has become if the kids today

Kapparoth is something I don't like .... poor chickens .... sorry. I have had the misfortune to watch documentaries that portray the principles of Judaism as being a bit crazed and beyond. The media seem to focus on the Chabad Hassidic Haredi congregation as if nuts and weird in a negative way. If the media would do their research they might realize that certain rituals and customs are beneficial. I would say that the swinging of incense and a confession box is alien to my thought and in reply, the Dissolution of the Monasteries was very negative and disruptive. I guess there are lots of ways of embracing G-d. Unfortunately, some documentaries I have watched have always as I see them hovered towards the negative.
