laying those bottles down like that turn them into torpedoes if the gauges or whole valve get broke off . i would never lay them down . stand them up .
ОтветитьIt couldn't have been any better!!! It couldn't have been any sweeter!!!!! I would want a headache added to it!!!
ОтветитьI got a 77 Chevy C30 that i want to build a weld bed for. I get a lot of good ideas from your channel
Ответитьwhy are all these welding trucks not even protected from rain?!?! seems fake, what are you welding bridges? anything under 1/2'' can be done with a tiny welder like 30lbs to 50lbs, you don't need an f350 for welding unless you wanna tow things 30,000lbs+ you are much better off with a smaller lighter 4wd fuel efficient vehicle, with cheap maintenance
ОтветитьWow this thing is so bad ass!! You're like the Batman of welding 🤣
ОтветитьI didn’t realize you were in Oklahoma. I don’t live far from the Stillwater area. I’m not a professional welder just mainly tinker and farm welding. I enjoy the videos though
ОтветитьI have a dirt moving company and I carry a lot of tools and a lot of stuff I need to keep the job and my guys rolling. It’s organized but I’m always trying to find ways to refine tool/equipment storage
ОтветитьInteresting, Montana is area code 406, it’s interesting that way down there is 405
ОтветитьNice looking bed! mines just a flat bed with tanks at the front welder in the middle tool box’s under the bed in front and behind the rear wheels all flat in the back for a work bench don’t pipe line weld just fab work and around the farm kind of welding not the perfect set up but can work well for most things and also I keep things simple so they are easy to fix on my old truck
ОтветитьI used to hurry more than I should. I expect most men do. An old trucker told me "go slow, you'll get there quicker" and now I do. Thanks for sharing your work because a real tradesman is never too proud to learn from anyone (that's why your viewers are here!) and you really do make a difference.
ОтветитьI’m a 50 year old lawn and landscape company owner looking to get out of the business,do you think pipeline welding 50 is too old to get in? I have some knowledge in welding mig mostly and can put a decent bead down but I have arc welded also.
ОтветитьIn south Texas, rig welders use the hoosier pole to hold an umbrella when frabricating near the side of the rig.
ОтветитьAlbuquerque NM welder! Awesome im from the 505 as well about 2 hours north ABQ actually. Awesum Chingon!!
ОтветитьHow much for the bed
ОтветитьWow you did a awesome job, the details are great a lot of time and thought was put into this build
ОтветитьWhy would you need two K bottles? I'm curious?
ОтветитьThings cleaaan… I just wish he asked for a slot to slide in a roll out wheel. Incase he decides to fab pipe. Love the back end
ОтветитьNice!
ОтветитьWhere can I get that thing you’ve got to pivot your torch?
ОтветитьI love how you carried the body lines from the truck doors back onto the sides of the rear.
ОтветитьSlow is smooth and smooth is fast. Learned that in the military but nice build
ОтветитьFactory tub beds are impractical. This is just one modification Ive seen over the years that is well done.
ОтветитьRIP those tires whenever this truck has any serious load, or goes offroad. I've personally witnessed dudes shred their tires because they never consider the fact that the suspension can have a fairly significant amount of up travel before it hits the bump stops. Perfect reason to get a lift I suppose.
ОтветитьSo for the radius part, you take 32"+ some more change ÷ 4 add some more change carry the one divide by pi, subtract the circumstance of the Earth, take the square root of the moons gravitational pull, add it all up, double check, stop, Pop a Top, call your buddies and start the process again, got it😂
ОтветитьDude it’s great looking
ОтветитьThat’s so cool! I’m from edgewood New Mexico.
ОтветитьI subscribed just because of that hat! See you on the next weld!
ОтветитьI have no idea why Americans prefer this style of bed. You can't use the rear of the bed as a workspace when you try to get tools out of those cabinets and there is limited space to store stuff. It's a very very nice build but Albertan rig welding beds are all around more versatile on every job site.
ОтветитьGreat job 👏👏👏
ОтветитьI believe I ran into this truck on the road! You did a hell of a job
ОтветитьIt'd be great to see it rigged out by the owner. Get us a pic!
ОтветитьI’m from Farmington New Mexico Leo
Ответитьdo you guys know if its popular to have a gooseneck on a rig similar to this pipe rig?
ОтветитьWho owns this truck?
ОтветитьSerious question here:
As someone who isn’t a welder I’ve always wondered why welding trucks are always 350/3500 dually diesels when in all reality a 1500 would be more than capable of carrying the tools around. Is it a regular occurrence that welders are also having to tow heavy things or is just about having a big truck?
Cool to see it is coming to Iowa.
Im not too close to Buchannon county, but ill recognize this truck if i see it!
Excellent job!
That is a very nice bed, Austin! I have been a follower since your pipelining days and really miss that content and miss being in that profession still myself. Out of the dozens of people I know, not a single one is still a pipeliner to this day, 2019 was the last year that I stepped on one. You have a great career going now, so dont think I am trying to degrade what you are doing. I just like to reminisce I guess. Take care.
ОтветитьIt's so crazy being in ponca and hear you saying Blackwell, tonkawa and Stillwater
ОтветитьLooks good!
ОтветитьHow much?
ОтветитьBeautiful job sir
ОтветитьNeed one build for my 4th gen raw steel no paint need a quote
Ответитьstill has emissions system on truck.......
ОтветитьThose fuel caps are getting broken for sure 😊
ОтветитьHow for a welding bed like this
ОтветитьIs he levitating? He's the Great Gazoo of welding.
ОтветитьWhy do they sit so low on the rear axle ??
Do the tires rub under load ??
Need a headache rack to protect that glass
ОтветитьI wish I was you dude.
