Maybe true for most of the games but not league, people always get hate for smurfing in league Tyler one might be the exception but he was doing different roles and different roles in league have a way bigger impact then they do in valorant

The MMR works very differently in those games though. Valorant is putting you strictly up against your ranks. (For the most part) I don’t hate smurfs necessarily, cause more often than not it’s because they want to play with a friend and simply can’t on their main. When it’s for boosting it’s pretty cringe, for content and what not it’s w.e. It’s a challenge no matter who you are to pull it off and it’s not as fun to say something like “ascendant to radiant” even though more often than not that’s what it is for you guys lol. (Due to you doing so well on a brand new account, you get placed high) But I do hate playing against a Smurfs. Just cause it’s an unfair advantage. I know it’s a skill issue at that point, but it’s also not. As you are playing against someone of much higher skill. But they are in lobbies for players with not as much time for the game and skill

it literally doesn't matter if he's smurfing. no one is stuck in silver gold or any rank because they ran into a smurf in a match. over the course of many games, those 2-3 games you lost out of 50 because of a smurf isn't the reason youre not in the rank you belong, period.

For content I give you the pass, but like smurfing in Val is just objectively different. Games more of a learning curve and has way more players meaning more people to hate on you.
